Philippine Children Medical Center

Visiting the little kids at the Philippine Children Medical Center was a great opportunity to bring joyous smiles to the children. The air was filled with mixed emotions of love and yes, tears.

It was a fulfilling experience to see the children gleam with fascination upon meeting the volunteers of the Chummy Chum Foundation. Aged 0-12 years, many of them were terminally ill. Others suffered from various diseases such as epilepsy, gastro-intestinal illness, as well as heart, kidney, and liver dysfunctions. Coloring books and crayons were distributed to the children and they loved it!

Approximately 400 children were at the center. 150 of them were confined at the hospital while the remaining number were out-patients.
