Philippine Cancer Society, Amoranto Stadium
Chummy Chum joined about 150 cancer survivors and victims who trekked the stadium to raise funds for the various children sick with cancer. The event was dubbed "Relay For Life".

Chummy Chum entertained about 650 children undergoing medical consultation and tooth extractions. They were given free popcorn and coloring books.

Chummy Chum visited about 50 sick children from the provinces. The parents and children patients who do not have any place to stay in Manila reside in Child's House until treatment is completed.
During the party, Chummy Chum gave out his usual fare of free snacks and coloring books.

National Children's Hospital. Quezon City
Chummy Chum visited about 100 children sick with different ailments at various pediatric wards. He gave them free popcorn and coloring books with crayons. He saw children stricken with cancer, hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, dengue fever, etc. Chummy Chum wasn't the only highlight of the event, Imelda Marcos was there entertaining the kids too! :)

World's Cancer Day-Light s of Life
At the Philippine Children's Medical Center, Quezon Ave. cor Agham Rd. Quezon City Chummy Chum attended and entertained 150 sick children with cancer during the World's Cancer Day Celebration focusing on the lights of life of the Filipino Children. He gave them free popcorn and coloring books with crayons.
