STERLING BANK Outreach Program at Our Lady of Hope Parish

Last Nov. 29 Monday, 10am-1pm: Chummy Chum was invited by the Sterling Bank Group, in Greenhills, San Juan, to hold an outreach program for indigent kids in Quezon City. The party was held at the Our Lady of Hope Parish located at 107 Rd 3 Pag-asa, QC.
Almost 50 kids and 50 other people enjoyed the party. There was a magician, lots of food, games, and prizes given away by Sterling Bank. The kids were really happy, especially when Chummy Chum danced with them and shared with them more freebies. Chummy Chum salutes all people and organizations who share their blessings all year round, and not only during Christmas time. :)

Last Nov. 28 Sunday 9am-1pm: Chummy Chum got a call from Ms Alice Jorolan, asking the address of Childhaus because she wanted to pay a visit to the cancer-stricken kids. During the conversation, Chummy Chum suggested to her how she could help the kids.
Chummychum entertained the 60 kids and their families, totaling 100 people. We gave out lots of prizes and toys, courtesy of Ms Alice. Our gracious host also cooked some special food for the kids, serving them personally. Ms Alice was very touched when the kids prepared a song for her, saying that from now on, she will start to support kids with terminal illnesses such as cancer.

Chummy Chum Celebrates Ms Cha's Birthday at Superior of the Daughters of the Crown Virgin

Last Nov.26 Friday 10-12nn: Chummy Chum got an email from Ms Cha to help her find an institution she wants to share her blessings with on her birthday. Chummy Chum recommended her to the Superior of the Daughters of the Crown Virgin Charity, located at Posadas St., Sucat, Paranaque.

Chummy Chum organized everything, ordering food, toys, and the program proper. We entertained nearly 50 indigent kids by doing a lot of parlor games, dancing and singing. Ms. Cha prepared lunch, toys, prizes and giveaways. Chummy Chum also gave out his own freebies.

Ms Cha thanked Chummy Chum for helping her feel content and happy on her birthday. She said that this is not her first tie-up with charity and she hopes to do more of these activities.

Chummy Chum celebrates Gab's 7th birthday with the kids of Children's Joy Foundation

Last Nov.20 Saturday 2-5pm, Chummy Chum celebrated Gab's 7th birthday with the kids of the Children's Joy Foundation, a home for abandoned and neglected children which houses 50 kids at present. Prior to this, the parents of Gab (Mr. and Mrs. Imperial) sought the help of Chummy Chum in choosing a foundation to celebrate with, and Chummy Chum recommended the above-mentioned foundation, located at 6 Swiss Brown St, Road 18, Proj. 8, QC.

Chummy Chum entertained all the kids, especially the young celebrant, by doing lots of parlor games. Chummy Chum also danced with the kids, and the children of the foundation performed by singing and dancing. The kids of the foundation got their freebies from Gab, and were around her when she blew her 7th candle.

We hope that more kids like Gab choose to spend their birthdays by giving to and having fun with less-fortunate children.

Ospital ng Maynila- OPD

Last Nov. 12, Friday, 9-12nn: Chummy Chum served almost 60 sick children at the Ospital ng Maynila Out Patient Department. The children and staff of the hospital were excited to have Chummy Chum with them once again. Chummy Chum entertained the group by dancing and taking photos with them. All patients got freebies and giveaways.

PGH Ward 11

Last Nov.10 Wednesday 2-4pm: Chummy Chum visited another pedia ward at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). Almost 50 newly admitted sick patients and their families got curious about the "birthday" preparations that were going on in the ward, only to find out that Chummy Chum was there to hold a special party for them! When Chummy Chum came out, we clearly explained that the party was for a mission of a charity of love for children who need to put on a smile. :) The kids got popcorn, cotton candy, and freebies.

Chummy Chum with Mrs. Cabardo, Gift-Giving

Last Nov.7 Sunday, 10am to1pm: Chummy Chum was invited by Mrs. Cabardo to join her in her gift-giving project for 100 indigent children, in San Andres Bukid, Manila. The kids saw Chummy Chum for the first time. They also loved the smell of popcorn and cotton candy, playing games and getting freebies. They also enjoyed dancing with Chummy Chum. Among the freebies they got were balloons, jump rope, pencil cases, and coloring books with crayons. Mrs. Cabardo and her family are saluted by Chummy Chum not only for bringing packed lunch for the kids, but also for sharing their blessings with the needy.

Philippine General Hospital, Ward 9

Last Nov.5 Friday 1-3pm: Chummy Chum visited the new patients at PGH Children's Ward 9. Nearly 50 kids and their families and the hospital staff enjoyed watching Chummy Chum dance Nobody by the Wonder Girls. They also smelled the aroma of popcorn and cotton candy wafting through the ward.

Though bed-ridden, the kids sat and clapped their hands as they got their photos taken with Chummy Chum and availed of freebies.

Chummy Chum with Ms. Emmaruth Matta at National Children's Hospital, Cancer Patients Ward

Last Oct. 30, Saturday, 3-5pm: Even after enduring heavy afternoon traffic at the South Luzon Expressway from Laguna, Chummy Chum went to the National Children's Hospital at E. Rodriguez Ave, QC. Chummy Chum got a request from Ms. Emmaruth the week before to help her celebrate her special day with less fortunate children. Chummy Chum recommended her to the Cancer Ward of the said hospital.

During this special day, Chummy Chum entertained nearly 35 cancer patients and their families. They all got freebies and more gifts and packed meals from the celebrant. It was a meaningful birthday for Ms. Emmaruth and her family for they shared their blessings with less fortunate kids and the Chummy Chum Foundation.

Chummy Chum with Rotaract Club of San Pedro South

Last Oct.30 Saturday 9-12noon, Chummy Chum was invited by Rotaract Club of San Pedro South, where almost 200 children of Brgy Maligaya 2,3, and 4 attended the event. The party was held at the Pacita Convention Center, Pacita Complex, San Pedro, Laguna. Chummy Chum arrived at 9am, and the children were really excited to meet him for the first time. The children were amazed to see how the popcorn and cotton candy machine was operated.

After games and prizes, laughing, dancing and photo op, the kids fell in line to get their freebies. It was an early Christmas gift giving to all indigent kids of Brgy Maligaya.
