Operation Blessings Foundation Medical Mission

On July 13, 2011, a Wednesday morning, we were on the road again, this time heading to the event organized by Operation Blessings Foundation. It was a medical mission for the community of Southville 8 resettlement area in Montalban, Rizal. The community was a project of former president Joseph Estrada, and it proved to be a great help to the folks living there, as they only pay 200 pesos per month for a 30-square-meter house that someday will be their own. The area is on a mountainside, and the vacant lots served as our venue for the game sand activities we organized for the children in the underprivileged community. While waiting for the snacks to cook, the OB people taught the kids about the bible, and some looked on in amazement at how pop corn and cotton candies were made. After the refreshments were handed out, Chummy Chum surprised the kids with a dance number, and even participated in some games, which all the kids liked. All the kids went home with gifts and perhaps nice stories to share with their families and friends.
Thanks to all the volunteers of Operation Blessings =)
OB accepts any kind of help you can share with the kids of indigent families. Please help us make a difference to the lives of these beautiful kids. We hope to see you soon! =)
