Chummy Chum with Ms. Larah and Family at Kanlungan sa Erma

Ms. Larah & Family shared their blessings with the girls’ home of Kanlungan sa Erma, a temporary shelter for abused children. When Chummy Chum received an email from Ms. Larah expressing her intent to share her blessings to these kids, Chummy Chum made a call to the girls’ home and informed them about the party treat. We also asked them if there were other things that they needed at the center and Kanlungan replied that they need ventilators. The sponsors not only donated 1, but two ( 2) ventilators plus a sack of rice and other goods. They all partied together with the help of Chummy Chum Foundation. Big smiles were seen on the girls’ faces as Chummy Chum entertained them with dance, food and goods.

Chummy Chum made kids happy once again, this time in cooperation with 100 Sheep Foundation, an organization that helps poor kids in their community at Dasmarinas, Cavite, by giving out school supplies and the likes. This time, the foundation organized a graduation treat for their pupils who have shown dedication and eagerness in their studies. Chummy Chum with ‘Simply Somin’ Group at Nayon ng Kabataan

Chummy Chum joined ‘Simply Somin’ as they held a charity event at Nayon ng Kabataan located at Mandaluyong City.
Simply Somin is a group of fans of Jung So Min, an actress from Korea, and this event is in celebration of their idol’s birthday.  What makes this group stand out from other fan clubs is that they bring joy and cheers to indigent children by conducting outreach programs, such as giving sacks of rice and other goods, on a quarterly basis. This is the first time that they teamed up with Chummy Chum, and we were amazed by their dedication and enthusiasm to help others.
With the success of the said charity event, they plan to do quarterly tie-ups with us to go to places that are in much need of our help. We would like to thank Sir Tito and his team for helping us on that day.

Chummy Chum and Mrs. Rowena Dizon’s Birthday Treat at Elsie Gaches Village

It was an early start for Chummy Chum as he went to Elsie Gaches Village (EGV) in Zapote Road, Alabang to accompany Mrs. Rowena Dizon who is celebrating her birthday with the kids of EGV.
Elsie Gaches is home to abandoned persons with special needs. Chummy Chum was very sad to learn that most of them were abandoned by their own families because of their mental condition. That is why Chummy Chum makes it a point to invite sponsors to EGV and make the kids and kids-at-heart happy and momentarily forget their sadness. Ms. Rowena did just that as she and her friends brought in clowns to entertain the kids. Everyone had a grand time what with the entertainment, food, gifts and loot bags from the birthday girl and Chummy Chum. Thank you for making these kids happy.

Chummy Chum at Kaisahang Buhay Foundation (KBF)

Chummy Chum received an invitation from Kaisahang Buhay Foundation (KBF) to join the KBF’s launching of its feeding program for Munting Pamayanan located at National Vocational Rehabilitation Center (NVRC) Compound in Barangay Escopa 3 in Project 4, Quezon City. It is so sad to see people living in deplorable conditions, overcrowded and poor quality housing. The community comprises of families consisting of blind members who are both working and studying at NRVC. While it is a relief to know that the blind parents are trying to raise their sighted children, the children are helpless and we need to help them. It was wonderful event for Chummy Chum to be part of the efforts to entertain seventy (70) indigent children, maybe to let them forget their problems for a while. When you see them smile, you let them feel that they are wanted and accepted. They all loved and were very excited to receiving freebies from Chummy Chum.
