Chummy Chum Visits Las Piñas Trauma Satellite Center



To wrap up the month-long visits to public hospitals, Chummy Chum headed off to Las Piñas Hospital Trauma Satellite Center located at Bernabe Compound, Pulang Lupa, Las Piñas City. This hospital is one of CCF’s incubator beneficiaries and we were there to repair their other incubator under ‘Chummy Chum Child Survivor Maintenance Equipment Program’. Under this program, we repair the public hospitals’ incubators free of charge and we even provide the materials needed. While the technician is doing his job, the Chummy Chum team entertain sick children of the said hospital and give them snacks and freebies with Ms. Ruth providing added refreshments.

Chummy Chum Visits Sick Kids at Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center



Chummy Chum visits the OPD section of Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center located at Delpan, Tondo, Manila as part of its goal to visit poor kids who are sick and reach 10 MILLION SMILE. The little ones were very grateful to Chummy Chum as the cuddly mascot made their check ups less frightening for them. Thanks again to Ms. Ruth for the added refreshments.

Chummy Chum Joins Ms. Elyn and Friends at PGH's Neuro Ward


Chummy Chum accompanied Ms. Elyn as she celebrates her birthday with Neuro kids of UP-PGH in Manila. Almost 200 kids and their guardians were there to celebrate it with her. The beneficiaries for the said event are patients with tumors. The event was held at the 2nd floor dining hall of PGH.
It started with a holy mass in the morning which uplifted our spirits and made us more hopeful for the kid patients especially those who seemed hopeless. Bernie’s Clown led the party and everybody, especially the guardians, actively participated. When Chummy Chum came out and danced, all the kid patients, even those with IV’s, got very excited and wanted to take picture with the cuddly mascot. All the kids went back to their ward with big smiles on their faces.

Mr. & Mrs. Sison’s Birthday Treat for Cancer Kids at Tahan-Tahanan



Chummy Chum was requested by Mr. & Mrs. Sison to go with them to Tahan-Tahanan located at East Avenue Medical Center, Quezon City. Tahan-Tahanan is a temporary shelter for kids who are suffering from cancer, and Mr. Sison wanted to celebrate his birthday with these kids. 
         The kind-hearted couple has made it a habit of spending their birthdays with the less fortunate children, as a way of sharing their blessings. Due to their busy scheduled they have trusted Chummy Chum Foundation to organize everything, from buying things to be donated to the foundation, ordering food and preparing freebies such as toys that will be given to the sick kids. Chummy Chum, together with Bernie’s Clown entertained the kids and brought back smiles on their little faces. For this, the Sison couple vowed to continue with their charity events in order to bring more blessings to the needy ones.

Chummy Chum Visits JRMMC's OPD section



Chummy Chum went to the OPD section of Jose Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (JRMMC), located at Malaria Tala, Caloocan City, to entertain almost 45 sick children. The children were entertained by Chummy Chum as they wait for their doctors for their check-ups. They enjoyed watching Chummy Chum dance and prepare their snacks and freebies. Chummy Chum was here at JRMMC a few months back to donate a brand new unit of incubator. CSMEP CC divison also repaired the other incubator unit on the same day. Thank you to Ms. Ruth for the added refreshments.

Chummy Chum Visits Ward 9 of PGH



Next in line for this month's hospital visits was Philippine General Hospital. Chummy Chum brought cheers and gifts to almost 45 sick kids at Ward 9 of PGH. Ms. Chloe and friends were with us and brought snacks and loot bags for the children.

Chummy Chum Graces Foursquare Gospel Church’s Family Day


Next stop for Chummy Chum is Foursquare Gospel Church’s Family Day at Malagasang II-D, Imus, Cavite. CCF was asked to sponsor the snacks of 50 kids from their Sunday school. The kids were all blessed with Compassion Korea’s goodness and generosity as they sponsored the game prizes for this event. 
      CCF prepared parlor games for the kids while their teachers assist us. When it was time for Chummy Chum to come out, the children could not contain their excitement. They all hugged Chummy Chum as he came out. They also danced and played with him. It was indeed a memorable moment for them what with all the fun and freebies they received. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped us.

Chummy Chum and Compassion Korea Visit Sampaloc Bible Christian Community


Chummy Chum was invited by Compassion Korea to their outreach program at Sampaloc Bible Christian Community located at Lacson Rd., Sampaloc, Manila. 
     Almost 70 indigent children attended the said Sunday school. The kids were all very disciplined and behaved as they wait for what Chummy Chum has in store for them. When the games started and when they all saw the prizes to be given away, they got all excited and actively participated. They all received freebies and have their pictures taken with Chummy Chum. The kids all went home with big smiles on their faces.

Chummy Chum at PCMC's "Nepro Month"



Chummy Chum graced the ‘Nepro Month’ Celebration of Philippine Children Medical Center located at Agham Road, Quezon City. Almost 50 kids and their guardians were given freebies and snacks prepared by CCF staff, doctors and nurses. The kids had a great time dancing and playing games with Chummy Chum.

Chummy Chum attends Childhope Asia’s High Five Hope Sports Festival 2012


Chummy Chum gets invited by Childhope Asia to their High Five Hope Sports Festival every year and today is no exemption. We were asked to sponsor the snacks and entertainment of almost 400 street children who are participating in the said sports fest, held in Rizal Memorial Stadium. 
          During the opening ceremony, Chummy Chum was introduced by the emcee, and the  lovable mascot came out and shook hands with the kids.
          The sweet aroma of freshly cooked popcorn and cotton candy had the kids running towards the Chummy Chum booth.  The kids also enjoyed playing with the bubbles coming from the bubble machine. It was such a delight to see these poor kids enjoying themselves as they danced with Chummy Chum and received their freebies. We would like to thank Sir Tito and his team for helping us.

Chummy Chum with ‘Little Deeds for Little Kids’ at KUYA Center

Chummy Chum received a request from TV5’s ‘Alagang Kapatid’ staff to sponsor their outreach program at Kuya Center located at New York, Cubao, Quezon City. 
        Kuya Center was re-opened as a temporary shelter for street children. Almost 70 kids, both from the center and around the community, participated in the games organized by the group. It was the first time for these kids to meet Chummy Chum and they were all very excited as they danced and took pictures with the cuddly mascot. This event is part of the monthly gift-giving activity of LDLK group and Chummy Chum Foundation.
