Chummy Chum Joins Ms Chiu and Friends for an Outreach Program

Chummy Chum accompanied Ms. Chiu and friends to visit the Hema Ward at the National Children’s Hospital located at E. Rodriguez, Quezon City. CCF visits the said hospital every month, and each visit we see new faces. The sad news is that 10% of these kids stay there for a long medical treatment. Some kids survive and some of them weren’t as lucky. This is the reason why CCF always prioritize requests to visit sick children especially cancer victims.
Chummy Chum entertained the kids of Hema Ward together with Bernie’s Clown, which Ms. Chiu also availed. Everyone had a great time especially the children and their parents.

Chummy Chum Graces NCMH Family Day

Chummy Chum sponsored the snacks and entertainment during the NCMH family day held at Zonta and Shangrila Pavilion 14 of the National Center for Mental Health in Mandaluyon City.
Sixty (60) mentally challenged children ages 10-17 years old were there to stay for temporary psychological treatment. According to the doctors present, these kids were treated in stages, Stage 1 – patients can stay for 3 months while Stage 3 or 4 cases may stay for 6 months to 1 year, depending on their behavioral reactions. Some of the families of these mentally challenged kids try to keep them out there, which is not advisable. We need to accept and immediately bring these children to specialists so that their behavioral problem will be treated.
Chummy Chum is thankful to see that despite their condition, they still enjoyed the family day held especially for them. Thank you to Ms. Leisette Sevilla for providing additional refreshments.
