Chummy Chum Graces ALS Aral Pinoy Launch

Chummy Chum Foundation teamed up with ALS Aral Pinoy, headed by Mr. Antonio Ingles as it launches their scholarship program for out of school youth. Mr. Ingles is a professor at DLSU-St. Benilde in Taft Ave., Manila. His heart is into helping out of school children to earn their education approved by DepEd. They have started giving free education to these kids in Paranaque for almost a month. The program dubbed as “Skwela! Libreng Hayskul Diploma!” is for the youth ages 15 and above, who have at least finished 1st year high school. Within 10 months on the said program, a student can already earn their high school diploma.

Aral Pinoy eSkwela Center is an aralpinoy.org, Inc.’s project that provides free high school education. This is in partnership with Bureau of Alternative Learning System (BALS), Division of City Schools in Paranaque City, L.A. Realty Holdings, Inc., and Barangay Don Bosco, and in cooperation with the Department of Education (DepEd) and National Youth Commission (NYC) through its Abot Alam, a nationwide program with the vision of helping our community-based youth through opportunities for education, possible career and employment. It is a national strategy to organize efforts in integrating programs for our out-of-school-youth (OSY). Aral Pinoy eSkwela Center (APEC) is housed at Rm. 202, 153 Executive Suites, Better Living Subdivision, Dona Solidad Ave., Brgy. Don Bosco, Bicutan, Paranaque City (beside Paranaque Doctors’ Hospital). APEC has a classroom and a computer laboratory to facilitate learning activities in the classroom and to apply what students will learn in their lecture and facilitate hands on learning in the computer laboratory.
