Chummy Chum with SM Foundation for Cavite Medical Mission

CCF went to another medical and dental mission with SM Foundation, this time at SM Rosario Cavite. The event was held at the front of the mall. SMF tapped the services of several doctors to provide free check up to poor families of Rosario, Cavite. Chummy Chum, on the other hand, gave free entertainment and gifts to poor sick kids who went there to avail the free checkup. Our team noticed that there are so many children here that belong to the poor families so aside from the Chummy Chum freebies, we also gave them snacks courtesy of our anonymous donors. There was this kid that was nursing a fever and asked us for a balloon, we readily gave one and a lootbag, which made the kid’s face lit up in delight.

Chummy Chum Visits Dr. Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital Pedia OPD

Directors of Dr. Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital were delighted when they get to receive a call from us that we were going to pay them a visit to do charity work and conduct maintenance checkup of the incubator that we donated to them.
They were very thankful of our visit because some of their incubator units are defective and it’s a chance for our technicians to fix them up.
The children were equally delighted when they saw us setting up our booth in the Pedia OPD section of the hospital. Some of the children were fascinated as they watch us make popcorn, while some were asking us if they could buy one.
The kids did not wait long for Chummy Chum to come out as they danced along with him as if they were not sick at all. We were very happy that we get to see how enjoyable the event was for the children. As we were about to leave, the medical staff were already asking on when are we going to visit them again and we answered, “Very soon”.

CCF headed to Sisters of the Poor located at Biak na Bato, Quezon City to join Ms. Faith for a charity activity.

This time their beneficiaries are seventy (70) elementary children that belong to the poor community. Before the distribution of school supplies, their “Ate’s” started the program with games with Chummy Chum freebies as prizes. After that Chummy Chum came out and danced for the children.
Ms. Faith and her friends gave the children food packs from a popular foodchain as well as school supplies. CCF provided popcorn, cotton candies, balloons, coloring sets and jumping ropes as prizes, as well as cold mineral water for drinks. All the children went home happy.

Chummy Chum Joins Ms. Emerald and her Group's Treat for Cancer-stricken Kids

Chummy Chum accompanies Ms. Emerald and her group as they provided treat to cancer kid patients of Tahan-Tahanan.
It is a temporary shelter for cancer-stricken children who are still looking for sponsors for their medical expenses. Tahan-Tahan is located at the basement area of East Avenue Medical Center. Almost every month, CCF is here as per request from various individuals who want to share their blessing to the needy ones. It were very sad for us to hear that two (2) patients who were with us just last month, have already passed away. That is why we are very grateful to sponsors, such as Ms. Emerald's group, for choosing to celebrate with these kids and give them happiness despite the sad state that they are in.

It is Kuya Ariel & family’s way of thanking the Lord for giving them blessings such as good health and the fact that they manage to get by every day of their lives. For this afternoon, they invited children in their neighborhood, especially those who have not experienced attending a grand birthday party with a mascot, cotton candy and the likes. Chummy Chum & SM Foundation Celebrates One Year Anniversary of Partnership

This day marks the first year anniversary of CCF & SMF partnership in providing accessible healthcare to the poorest of the poor and spreading joy to less fortunate children. We remember the first time CCF and SMF forge a deal when SMF Operations Manager personally went to CCF headquarters and met our big boss. They talked for an hour regarding charity work wherein the two foundations agreed to be partners for said cause. SMF will be in charge of providing free medical services to the indigents while CCF will be in charge of cheering up pedia patients. In celebration of said partnership SMF and CCF conducted free medical service at SM Baliuag, Bulacan with different beneficiaries, not only poor people from said community. Chummy Chum gladly danced for then and share CCF freebies. Thanks to AO for some of the lootbags.
