Chummy chum Joined Barangay Ginebra "Die Hard Fan's Club" Outreach Program at Hospicio De San Jose

Chummy Chum joined ‘Brgy Ginebra San Miguel DieHard Fan's Club’ as they held a charity event at Hospicio De San Jose  located at Ayala Bridge, Manila.
Ginebra fans Club is a group of fans of Robert Jaworski the legend Basketball Player and company, and this event is in celebration of their idol’s birthday.  What makes this group stand out from other fan clubs is that they bring joy and cheers to indigent children by conducting outreach programs, such as giving  rice and other goods.

This is the first time that they teamed up with
Chummy Chum, and we were amazed by their dedication and enthusiasm to help others.
With the success of the said charity event, they plan to do yearly tie-ups with us to go to places that are in much need of our help.

Chummy Chum Visit the sick kids of Ospital ng Paranaque

Chummy Chum visited the Ospital ng Paranaque formely called Paranaque Community Hospital located at Quirino St La Huerta Paranaque City. For their New Hospital you can see if its like Private  this is a government hospital under Department of Health,
the kids in Childrens ward and OPD still greeted by a warm and happy Chummy Chum to make their day exciting. They saw popcorn, balloons, and cotton candy and asked whose birthday it was. They didn't have a clue it was for them! Chummy Chum danced with them, and all of them got freebies.

Seen in photos Chummy Chum in Pedia ward and Out Patient Department Pedia with the kids Doctors and staff of Ospital ng Paranaque. Thanks to Ms.Chloe and Mom's for added refreshment and helping us out.

Chummy Chum Graces Bagong Ilog Elem School-SPED’s Intellectual Ability Month

CCF Team went to Bagong Ilog, Pasig City to heed the invitation of Ms. Malou, a teacher at Bagong Ilog Elementary School to bring cheer to SPED students and sponsor their snacks as they celebrate Intellectual Ability Month.

CCF left the headquarters very early as we anticipated the traffic along that area. We arrived at the venue ahead of time so we decided to hear mass first.

The program started with the Holy Mass and then followed by parlor games for the children and a little Zumba. Here you can see the SPED kids’ ability to follow instructions. The Zumba class went on for an hour and you can see the children sweating yet enjoying every minute of it as they danced along with their parents.
After that, the refreshments and snacks were served courtesy of Ms. Jhen. Thanks Ms. Jhen!

Chummy Chum with SM Foundation at University of Perpetual Help JONELTA for Medical Mission

CCF headed to University of Perpetual Help in Binan, Laguna to join SMF on another medical mission.
This private university has their own hospital that has a Charity Ward on their Out Patient Department, and that’s where SMF held their free consultation. The OPD of the said hospital is quite small but this did not hinder the volunteers in providing medical services to poor people in that community.
The Hospital Director was a former Senior Manager of SM Foundation who has a big heart for the poor. The director was delighted to tell everyone present that aside from the free checkup and medicine courtesy of SMF, the kids also have a treat courtesy of Chummy Chum Foundation. Someone inquired if we could donate an incubator to the hospital but we politely informed them that we only give said units to public hospitals because they cannot afford to buy one.
Thank you Ms. Jhen for some of the lootbags.

Chummy Chum Spends Valentine’s Day with Poor Community of DAHHA with SM Foundation

CCF Staff spent the day of hearts with poor kids of DAHHA community in Quezon City as we took part at SM Foundation’s Medical Mission.

The medical mission was held at the covered court. All the tables were nicely decorated and we were joking that since that it was a special day, the medicines were our “handa”. As we were preparing the popcorns, the children started to come near our booth to see us cook. And when they ready our notice that says “Free popcorns and freebies for kids after the checkup” they do understand and get back on the line.

It was the Rotary Club of Quezon City that requested SMF to hold Medical Missions in the poor communities of Dahha. The Rotarians were better organized this time as they prepared food for the doctors and SMF staff as compared to last year’s. It is good to work with groups that are aware of the needs of their guests. Even though we do this for free, we appreciate organizers/group who are accommodating and cordial.

Big thanks to Ms. Jhen for donating some of the lootbags.

Chummy Chum with SMF Medical Service at OLCP Community

CCF headed to Quezon City, particularly at OLCP Miranele Subdivision for another medical mission by SM Foundation.

The beneficiaries are those that belong to the poor community. When we got there, the organizers were already counting off the beneficiaries thru their list, and we saw that the children were already agitated as the organizer was calling the names and numbers one by one.

As we were setting up our booth, it’s good that medical mission is already starting. After the medical checkup of the children, they proceeded to our booth to receive Chummy Chum freebies and popcorns. The kids were ok, it was some of the mothers who were more stubborn as they insisted getting freebies for their kids even though the checkup is not done yet.

Nevertheless we are happy that we get to share love and cheer to more kids. Big thanks to Ms. Jhen for the lootbags.

Chummy Chum at SM Foundation’s Medical Mission in SM Batangas City

CCF Staff went to Batangas for another medical mission by SM Foundation. Even if we’ve been to Batangas a lot of times, we still find the place far. It’s like driving from Paranaque to Bulacan, but with no traffic. It’s nice that SMF shouldered our toll fee of almost P1,000.00.

We got to the venue and we see so many new faces of children in the crowd. These kids came from the poorest of the poor within Batangas.
Aside from the popcorns, balloons, coloring materials and toys, we are thankful to those who sponsored cupcakes and juices which were given to the children who are so poor, they value each item that they receive.

The medical mission was held inside SM’s entertainment hall. The beneficiaries were given stubs by the Red Cross volunteers. Almost 1000 families were there and 500 of those were children that were given free medical checkup, medicines at Chummy Chum freebies.

Chummy Chum Pays Visit to OPD kids at PGH

CCF Staff went to visit the Out-Patient Department (OPD) of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) after a year due to hectic schedules and we were able to secure a permit more easily than previous attempts.

Even though our team don’t get to do outreach programs at PGH that much, we still have continuous communication with them due to the incubators that we donated to the said hospital as well as the continued maintenance of our technicians on said incubators.
For this day, we came here to PGH to give joy to children as well as to respond to their call to fix the incubator. After a year of not visiting the Pedia-OPD, we noticed a considerable change in it. The walls are painted with colorful cartoon characters and there is a shelf on the side that is field with toys but was locked, seems like it is there for display purposes only.
Nevertheless, we get to cheer up the children who were there and gave them snacks and freebies. Big thanks to Beacon Makati Residence for donating cupcakes and juice.
