Chummy Chum with Ms. Kat & Friends Spread Cheer and Blessings at Sarnelli Center

CCF went to L. Gabriel St., Airport Rd, Paranaque City to treat the children of said community, our chosen beneficiary for Ms. Kat.
She has long been in search of poor children to share her blessings with. She called us up and requested to help her. She also said she wanted the venue just near her place.
Ms. Kat provided catering food, cakes and grocery items. She trusted yours truly to supervise everything because she has no time to do so. She sent us money to buy everything needed for the Sarnelli activity. Our volunteers who did the marketing provided her receipts of the purchased items.
Ms. Kat vowed that she will do this kind of outreach again every year for the sake of the poor children.
CCF team arrived at the venue to set up. You can see in the photos, 4 huge tables with lots of food and gifts.
The program started when Ms. Kat & friends arrived. They joined in the fun and were delighted with the clowns’ antics. So delighted, that she gave everyone bonus tips. She also donated a cash check to Chummy Chum Foundation.
Thank you very much Ms. Kat!

Chummy Chum joins Ms. Mayette as She Treat Kids at Bahay Aruga

From St. Benilde, we headed straight to Malate, Manila in the evening to grace the last minute invitation of Ms. Mayette, founder of Bahay Aruga.
She wanted to treat the Kids with Cancer that temporarily resides at Bahay Aruga. These children are terminally ill and only have moments to live, so who are we to say to her request?
When we got there, the food and gifts were already prepared, which were solicited from generous people.
I remember Childhaus which Mother Ricky Reyes handles… Ms. Mayette also has a beauty salon but it’s not as big as that of Mother Ricky. Childhaus has many donors because its founder knows a lot of well-off people.
With Ms. Mayette, she is just starting and she admits that she is praying for the needs of these sick children such as medicines & transport money for medical checkups. If the patients don’t have food, Ms. Mayette provides for them so they will not get hungry. She also admits that she also needs help with the utility bills of Bahay Aruga for the sake of the poor cancer patients.
We sincerely hope that the kinds readers will help the poor cancer patients in Bahay Aruga.

Chummy Chum with Aral Pinoy for Libreng Salo-Salo

After the morning event, CCF headed to De La Salle College of St. Benilde in Manila for Aral Pinoy’s activity.
The group treated the poor children living in slums to a “munting salo-salo”. This was made possible by the contributions from students and friends from abroad.

Aral Pinoy’s founder is a professor in St. Benilde and has been teaching for 20 years. Many of his students are already successful individuals and some are working abroad, these are his sponsors for Aral Pinoy.

The children were treated to snacks and freebies. Chummy Chum also gave away freebies. There were also clowns who rendered their services for free just to make the children happy.

Chummy Chum Graces the Culminating Activity of Daughters of Charity

CCF went to Daughters of Charity located at East Service Road, Sucat, Muntinlupa for a charity activity.
The place is beautiful and it also houses a church and a convent. Daughters of Charity helps a lot of poor people such as teaching them about God.
Today is their culminating activity wherein children learn about Christ’s teaching the whole summer. Because today is the last day of their summer class, the Sisters invited Chummy Chum as a treat for the children.
After eating, the children lined up to receive their freebies. The organizers even prepared a surprise for the beneficiaries as each of them received grocery items courtesy of the sponsors.

chummy chum bring smile to the bario kids of sm foundation medical mission at brgy looc batangas.

CCF Staff started their day very early as they cruised South Luzon Express Way and took the GMA Exit to join SM Foundation on their Medical Mission at Barangay Looc in Nasugbu, Batangas. We just encountered a little setback when our van experienced a problem while we were in Brgy Dapdap. We caused a little traffic due to the unfortunate event. Thankfully, one barangay official helped us out and let us pass through when he learned that we were with SMF. When we got to the site, only a few kids were there but when we started setting up our booth, cooking popcorns and preparing the freebies, more kids started to arrive and had their medical checkup.
Big Thanks to Ms. Jeckai for some lootbags for kid's.

Chummy Chum Joins Advocacy Outreach’s Back to School Project for Poor Kids

CCF headed to Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao Quezon City to be with Advocacy Outreach for another charity project. The activity was held at the Nativity of Lord Parish Church. We almost got lost going there because Brgy. E. Rodriguez was quite big and due to the wrong address given by the invitee. But when we saw the poor children waiting for us at the venue, all the tiredness we fell went away.
Advocacy Outreach is a group of kind-hearted people that solicit donations from their friends for a year so they could share them to less fortunate children.
The inspiration for this is Anjo, a kid with a generous heart who passed away and led to his parents and friends to form Advocacy Outreach and continue what Anjo did which was sharing his blessings to less fortunate children.
When CCF Staff arrived at the venue, the kids were not there yet, so the organizers requested us to block our van so as to serve as display at the program venue.
When the children arrived, the program started with the Nuns teaching kids about God’s love. Those who listened were given prizes courtesy of Chummy Chum. All the kids received gifts from Advocacy Outreach and Chummy Chum Foundation.

Chummy Chum with Ms. Jeckai at Alay ng Puso for Abandoned Kids

When Ms Jeckai learned about CCF’s mission of sharing our blessings and spreading cheer to less fortunate children and how it is similar to what she does for them, she tapped us to help her to organize a charity activity at Missionaries of Charity’s Alay ng Puso.
Missionaries of Charity is an orphanage for neglected and abandoned kids. Some of these kids were physically abused by their own parents so we opted not to show their faces in the photos due to legal concerns.
The social workers in charge of their cases are doing all they could to help these abuse kids thru counseling and talking to the parents/guardians for them not to experience abuse anymore.

Chummy Chum Graces Kuya Ariel’s Yearly Treat at Seacom

For five years now, Kuya Ariel has partnered with CCF in conducting a Feeding Program for poor kids of Seacom. Kuya Ariel was a former driver of CCF.
When our team arrived at the venue, just a handle of kids were there. As we finished setting up more kids showed up and then the party started.
This year was different because compared to the previous years, they hired clowns to make the party more lively with games and magic. Their yearly mission of sharing their blessing has brought happiness not just to children but also Kuya Ariel’s co-workers as he also invited them to the party and partake on so many delicious food.

Chummy Chum with Aral Pinoy Treat Poor Children for Mother’s Day Celebration

As we celebrate a very special day for all the mothers, CCF team headed to Novaliches in Quezon City for a charity activity, a mother’s day celebration by Aral Pinoy held in Sauyo Parish Church. CCF team arrived early along with our volunteer, Ms. Jen and her friend Glernil.

We prepared lootbags for the children. The program started with games hosted by clowns. The party was not that lively because there was no happy music so we provided them with some upbeat music. Aral Pinoy staff and volunteers provided free lunch and also school supplies.
