Chummy Chum and Project Outreach Bring Birthday Treats Through a Feeding Program to the Poor Children Living Around Tondo

January 31, 2017

MANILA – In this invitation from last December, a family with relatives working as nurses abroad sponsored this event for children who need attention. We arrived at the event earlier as planned. We were warmly welcomed by Councilor Amper. He invited Outreach Program and Chummy Chum. While waiting for the kids to be completed, we gave them popcorn and cotton candy as snacks. Chummy Chum gave them a dance number and had a picture-taking with them. Then, the event continued and doughnuts, barbecues, etc. were distributed.

Thanks to all who volunteered.

Chummy Chum Leads Ms. Ahne and Her Family on Giving Birthday Treats to the Cancer-patients of Hema Ward of National Children’s Hospital

January 29, 2017

QUEZON CITY – Ms. Anne started volunteering to Chummy Chum on her college years together with her friends. After graduation, she worked and had a family. This time, she shares her blessings to children who have cancer every year during her birthday. Prior to her birthday, she saves money that she will be using to order food, to purchase toys, and for the loot bags she will be giving to the kids.

The event was held in the afternoon. We parked our van at the nearest fast-food chain because our van is too big to fit inside National Children’s Hospital’s parking lot. We conduct events at NCH so often that the guards already know us. The event was held at the 4th floor, where the room is currently under work. The clowns Ms. Anne hired entertained the kids. Then, everyone had a picture-taking with Chummy Chum followed by the distribution of the food and of the gifts Ms. Anne prepared for the children.

Thanks to all who volunteered.

Chummy Chum Joins Ms. Agnes and Her Friends on Their Feeding Program for the Streetchildren Around Brgy. Tejeros, Makati City

January 21, 2017

MASCARDO ST., BRGY. TEJEROS, MAKATI CITY – Sometimes, we see women who are supposed to take care of their children are outside of their homes; hearing and mumbling about the latest gossip. But, this group we met is different. They are a neighborhood who teach good values and the teachings of the Bible to children living in their streets. They give them a bath and food. They do this every Saturday. They have a tent placed on their road (for those who are willing to cooperate with them, please contact us).

Everybody loved the Chummy Chum van. After preparing our machines and giveaways, the group of Ms. Agnes played games while waiting for the popcorn to pop. Their efforts in teaching these children can be seen as the children answered their questions with ease. After the games, Chummy Chum gave them a dance number and then gifts were distributed to the children.

Thank you very much to all sponsors of our giveaways: Ma’am Nadia for imported groceries, Sir Bino for cereals and Ma’am Edith for the toys.

Chummy Chum Joins Denisse's Family in Celebrating Her Special Day with the Cancer-kids of PGH at Bahay Aruga.

January 18, 2017

MARCELINO ST., MALATE, MANILA – Ms. Denisse was a volunteer of Chummy Chum. Today, she celebrates her birthday together with Chummy Chum and Halfway Home for children who have cancer. We met Bahay Aruga after cancelling an event due to a misunderstanding.

Upon Ms. Denisse and Chummy Chum team’s arrival, we waited for the kids. Ms. Denisse prepared gifts for 25 kids but only 10 appeared because others had their check up. The donor took the opportunity to talk to the kids to know them more. When the popcorn popped, Chummy Chum gave them a dance number and had a picture-taking with kids and the donor. Then, the gifts, toys, pillows, and the food the donor prepared were distributed to the children.
