Chummy Chum Leads Teacher Rowena and Her Group for Her Birthday Party with the Cancer-patients of National Children’s Hospital

February 28, 2017

QUEZON CITY – Another visitation was booked by the social service of National Children's Hospital. The request is from a celebrant who is a cancer-survivor. Due to the celebrant’s busy schedule, they asked Chummy Chum to assist in ordering the food and buying gifts. Today, aside from the things the celebrant requested, they also brought along with them loot bags, food, balloons, toys, etc. The event started with our new clown, Luke, from Pasig City who purposely lowered his talent fee for charity purposes. He entertained the children with games. Then, he gave the children balloon sculptures made in front of them. While eating, he performed magic tricks that left children in amazement. But everyone also enjoyed the puppet show with Luke’s puppet, Rick, as her made them laugh. For the finale, after the foods have been distributed, Chummy Chum met the new patients of the Hema Ward of NCH and the birthday celebrant.

Rotaract of Kabataang West Rembo and International Netherlands Group Made Kids Smile with Chummy Chum

February 25, 2016

WEST REMBO, MAKATI – We received an email last month requesting for a place somewhere near Makati only. We immediately searched for contacts and found the Rotary of Kabataang West Rembo, leading us to Brgy. Mangga. We arrived early so that we would still be able to get things done. The place is not spacious because there are cars parked along the road. We went to the open court and saw the food we ordered already there. The local councilor helped in preparing the booths for the distribution of the stubs. Although some children tried to sneak on the line for the stub, the party still started on time with the clowns entertaining the children with games. Then, a picture-taking with Chummy Chum was done as the children loved him. The group had prepared a lot of giveaways from groceries to school supplies. Wonderful enough, everyone was happy as they all received gifts.

Chummy Chum Brings Smiles to OPD Patients of Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center

February 23, 2017

MANILA – Regular visitations to hospitals were already requested. But due to some issues with our Chummy Chum Van, visitations became limited. Today, though, we visited Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center (OMMC) – a non-profit tertiary, general and training hospital in Malate, Manila, Philippinesand its Out Patient Department to entertain children waiting for their names to be called.

There are a lot of donations given by generous sponsors that are waiting to be given and distributed to those in need. Today, they will be given to children who patiently waited to be checked.

As they receive their gifts, some grumpy faces became delighted and refreshed. But they all have one common denominator: they all left with a smile.

DSWD Day Care Center Holds Its Family Day with Chummy Chum

February 19, 2017

PARANAQUE CITY – This request is from last year for their family day. Before scheduling the day of this event, they first respectfully asked for the availability of Chummy Chum in the day they proposed before scheduling an event on the nearest covered court from their place.

The last time we went to this place was 2 years ago with the SPECS Foundation. The place was dusty and very open. Today, it was rebuilt and covered. The place is much more secured, disallowing uninvited/unwanted people to come. The only problem is that the court does not take events for free.
Upon our arrival, they loved the Chummy Chum van and felt delighted as we are the only sponsors for their event. We prepared our booth as the children play, lead by people of DSWD. We have prepared gifts and food for them. Due to our rule, though, to give stuff only to those who are in need, we select what to give on a kid based on his/her state of living.
There were dance numbers prepared by the children that made them the center-of-attraction. Then, Chummy Chum gave them a dance number. The kids loved Chummy Chum. They danced with him and had a picture-taking with him.

PHAP Cares and Chummy Chum Made Special Children of Oblates of Saint Francis Smile on Its Founding Anniversary

February 18, 2017

SAN ANTONIO, PARANAQUE CITY – The venue is just a few miles away from the headquarters of Chummy Chum. Today’s event is a celebration of the foundation of Oblates of St. Francis who helps children with special needs in school. The event started with a mass attended by the children and their parents. After preparing our equipment in the 2nd floor of the venue, the children also went upstairs to have their seats. In all of the years they do this event, it is their first time to be with Chummy Chum. Everyone was participative in the games. They all want to receive a prize. Since it is their first time to meet Chummy Chum, they were left in awe and amazement. Then, they had picture-taking with him as the popcorn and giveaways were being distributed.
