March 30, 2017

BRGY. STA. CRUZ 1, DASMARINAS, CAVITE - There are requests that were mysteriously left unanswered. Home for the 100th Sheep Foundation wanted to be with Chummy Chum every year. Unfortunately, their requests for the past few years was  not answered. Yet today, requests were now directed to the person handling the wensite and made it easier to answer requests. As long as the date is free, and the road to the venue is not risky, Chummy Chum is available.

Today, we met a new batch of kids in kindergarten with the help of Home for the 100th Sheep Foundation. The foundation helps children in their studies by making sure that they get enough food everyday. They conduct a feeding everyday. They also give school supplies with the help of their sponsors. Today, they received toys from SMFI Cares which will then be distributed to the children who have made their way to the graduation ceremony. The kids received gifts and Chummy Chum freebies, making this special day memorable.

Chummy Chum Joins SM Foundation's Medical and Dental Mission for Poor Families

March 28, 2017
MOLINO, CAVITE – Today at SM Molino, SM Foundation held their medical mission. Although there were some misunderstanding about the parking space because it was just renovated, everything went fine as we go to the place of the event. The venue is better than the previous one. Some of the children who went to the mission were poor and some were just there so that they can have free medicine. It sounds against our vision, but we keep in mind that there must be a serious reason why they choose to go here and line for something free. They are still kids, indeed, who deserve a gift for patiently waiting in line to be checked up.

Chummy Chum Accompanies Chiang Kai Shek College Boy Scout in Their Outreach Program for the Cancer-patients of National Children's Hospital

March 18, 2017

QUEZON CITY – This is our first time to cooperate with this group. Most of them are Chinese but are able to understand and speak Filipino. According to their instructor who leads outreach programs, they have been teaching their students how to face people and make people happy specially children who are ill. Some of the youth are still shy to approach the kids that made them waiting for some time. Chummy Chum explained that the youth we are joining today are just starting to interact with people so that their self-esteem will increase and may also aid in the track they will be choosing in the future. This outreach program is their starting point.
Children in beds were nonetheless cooperative. The youth went near their beds and had a conversation with them, while sitting in a chair they brought along with them. The room was full of conversation and giggles as Chummy Chum showed up and gave them the giveaways.

Chummy Chum Joins SM Foundation on Its Medical and Dental Mission for Poor Families Living in Novaliches, Quezon City

March 15, 2017

NOVALICHES, QUEZON CITY – Free health service is the mission of SM Foundation for families in need on the whole country. This time, their medical mission was help at SM Novaliches. We are still using our personal car and informed them that the Chummy Chum truck is still under maintenance and that we still do not have a driver to drive it available. This is the first request of SM Foundation to Chummy Chum for this year. They let us borrow a cart for the equipment we have. The table we will be using was already prepared, so we displayed our freebies to get the attention of the children – that they will be receiving freebies if they wait patiently to be checked up.

Thank you Go Motion Production for the toys.

Chummy Chum Joins Sagip Buhay Organization in their Feeding Program for Poor Kids

March 12, 2017
BRGY. SINHALAY, STA. ROSA, LAGUNA - Chummy truck is about to be repaired and is still looking for a new driver but it's not stopping Chummy Chum to join and sponsor the event of SBO or Sagip Buhay Org.'s Feeding program for poor kids living at Brgy. Sinhalay Sta Rosa, Laguna.

There’s a saying: “There’s a way for everything”. For the children, we used our personal car to deliver the goods we have. Their thank yous have become music to our ears.

Most of the children were already at the venue when we arrived. We asked a few men from the community to help us carry the machines we brought along with us. This is our first time to cooperate with Sagip Buhay Organization. After the booth has been set up, the group entertained the children by games. Then, Chummy Chum gave them a dance number and had picture-taking with the children and with the group. Their feeding program for today is unique and memorable as Chummy Chum was there to bring smiles to the children.

Thank you Go Motion Production for the toys as prizes for the games.
