In June 2022, CCFPI created the first story book of Chummy Chum to be read to the children during charity events. The book was a collaborative effort of the founder, trustees, staff and a volunteer graphic artist.
The storybook featuring Chummy Chum, spanning 16 pages, introduces children to various aspects of Chummy Chum's character and daily life. It also addresses what Chummy Chum lacks and how he deals with it.
This is why everybody loves Chummy Chum.

A True Story
“Our child was terminally ill and it was as if he was just waiting to leave. It was like he had no energy or reason to smile anymore. The day Chummy Chum visited, he smiled, it was the first smile we had seen in months, shortly after that he left us. We thank Chummy Chum for that last smile.”
