It was an unfortunate day for Ms. Diane, the one who invited us to spend her birthday with the less fortunate children of Open Day Center of Virlaine Foundation as our Chummy Chum Van’s alternator broke down. But this did not deter us from doing our mission to spread cheer to children. Ms. Diane offered her vehicle as service so that we can transport our equipment to Quiapo, Manila where the venue is, while our truck was left in Ospital ng Maynila.
When we got to the venue, the children were all there waiting for us. We immediately get to work and set up our popcorn machine and suit up Chummy Chum. The kids enjoyed playing during the parlor games hosted by the clowns. After the games, Chummy Chum came out and danced for the children. Afterwards the children and Ms. Diane & friends had their pictures taken with Chummy Chum.
