PERFORMANCE
CHILD MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CMAP)

Started in 2018, CMAP's objective is to save lives and help for faster recovery of pediatric patients. The program is an immediate medical or clinical aid to terminally ill children who are financially incapable in their time of needs. The aid serves in non-cash form (like medicines or voucher (receipts) paid clinical procedures).
In 2024, the CMAP provided cash assistance to 75 children from impoverished families with serious medical conditions, with 26% of the total monetary contributions coming from voluntary donors. The CMAP has granted to 407 beneficiaries with cash assistance of Php 3.3M as of end of FY2024.

In 2025, the Child Medical Assistance Program (CMA) served 167 sick children, a significant increase from 75 children in 2024, reflecting a 122.7% growth in beneficiaries. This performance ranks 3rd in yearly reach since the program’s implementation in 2017 and contributes approximately 21.8% to the cumulative 765 children served.

The total cash assistance distributed in 2025 amounted to Php 256,563.00, placing 5th in yearly performance, and accounting for about 7.1% of the overall Php 3,631,135.85 disbursed since 2017.

Funding for the program in 2025 was sourced from 77% institutional donors and 23% individual donors, reflecting a balanced and diversified support base.

The notable increase in the number of children served is largely attributed to the growing participation of individual donors, who contributed small but meaningful amounts ranging from Php 500 to Php 2,000 per child. These collective contributions enabled the foundation to extend assistance to a greater number of children, particularly those currently confined in hospitals and in urgent need of financial support.

Meanwhile, institutional donor funding was strategically allocated to support children requiring more extensive medical assistance, including the purchase of medicines, and coverage of clinical and laboratory procedures that are not readily available in public hospitals. This targeted approach ensured that children with more critical needs received adequate support, contributing to their faster recovery and improved access to care.

Overall, the 2025 performance of the CMA program reflects both expanded reach and strengthened donor engagement, reinforcing its commitment to providing timely and meaningful medical assistance to children in need.
