Below are the steps and guidelines to help you plan your birthday celebration with us:

Thank you for reaching out to the Chummy Chum Foundation and for your interest in celebrating your birthday with underprivileged children! We truly appreciate your desire to share your special day by bringing joy, gifts, and meaningful experiences to kids in need.

Celebrating Your Special Day with Chummy Chum

CONTACT & INTIAL COORDINATION​

​

  1. Email/Call Our Admin:

    • Send an email to admin@chummychum.org or call us at +63 82559293 local 112 or chat at FB page: Chummy Chum Foundation.

    • Let us know your preferred date and any ideas you have for your event.

  2. Provide Basic Details:

    • Your full name and contact information

    • Preferred date and time for the celebration

    • Anticipated number of people joining you (family, friends, volunteers)

    • The type of donation you plan to make (cash or in-kind, such as food packs, hygiene kits, school supplies, etc.)

CHOOSE A PARTNER INSTITUION OR BENEFICIARY​

  1. Selection of Beneficiary:

    • The Chummy Chum team will help you decide which orphanage, shelter, or community center will host your celebration, depending on their needs and availability.

    • We typically work with various children’s homes, underprivileged communities, hospitals, and schools—your donation and presence will make a difference wherever you choose

  2. Confirm Date & Venue:

    • We’ll coordinate with the institution to confirm the venue and schedule that works best for everyone.

    • Once confirmed, we will provide you with exact address details, event timing, and any special requirements.

PLAN FOR THE PROGRAM​​

  1. Finalize Activity Flow:

    • Together with the Chummy Chum team, you’ll finalize the activities: simple games, distribution of snacks, gift-giving, storytelling, etc

    • Chummy Chum often includes interactive entertainment (e.g., a puppet show or bubble show) to make it extra fun for the kids. Let us know if you have any special requests or ideas.

  2. Prepare Donations and Giveaways:

    • Decide what kind of items you wish to distribute (e.g., snack packs, hygiene kits, educational materials, toys).

    • If you’d like to donate a specific amount in cash, the Chummy Chum Foundation can help purchase items in bulk and coordinate the distribution.

  3. Volunteers and Logistics:

    • Let us know the number of volunteers coming with you to ensure we plan accordingly.

    • We can advise you on how many children to expect, as well as any dietary or special considerations.

ON THE DAY OF THE CELEBRATION

  1. Arrival & Set Up:

    • Arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up decorations or giveaways.

    • Coordinate with the Chummy Chum team and the partner institution’s staff.

  2. Program Proper:

    • Our team will guide you through the planned activities (games, entertainment, distribution of food/gifts).

    • Feel free to interact with the children—play, share stories, and take photos (when permitted).

  3. Closing and Clean-Up:

    • Make sure to leave the venue in good condition.

    • Share your thanks to the institution’s staff and the children.

    • We typically take a quick group photo to capture the memory (with permission from the institution).

POST-CELEBRATION

  1. Feedback & Photos:

    • You’ll receive photos from our team (subject to privacy policies) to remember your special day.

    • We’d love to hear about your experience—feel free to share feedback, testimonials, or stories.

  2. Stay in Touch:

    • Please follow our social media channels or visit chummychum.org to stay updated on other outreach events and ways to continue supporting the children.

  3. Donation Transparency & Documentation:

    • If requested, the foundation will provide a document or certificate acknowledging your donation and participation.

    • Your contribution goes a long way in supporting our mission to spread smiles to even more children in need.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:

Safety & Health Protocols:

    • Ensure that any food or items you bring are safe, properly packaged, and suitable for the children. If there are any ongoing health guidelines, we’ll advise you accordingly.

  2. Budget Considerations:

    • There is no strict minimum amount—every donation helps. We’ll do our best to utilize your resources effectively for the children’s benefit.

  3. Respect & Sensitivity:

    • Many of the children come from challenging backgrounds. Please be mindful of their circumstances and keep communication positive and encouraging.
