8 March 2025 Children from Brgy. San Antonio Pasig City   Chummy Chum and Check Group, spread joy to children from underprivileged communities in Pasig City. The event took place on the third floor of the Brgy. Hall in San Antonio, Pasig City, where the children eagerly gathered to meet the beloved mascot.   As soon as Chummy Chum arrived, the children, along with various groups who had come to share their blessings, were filled with excitement. Chummy Chum quickly got to work setting up a festive atmosphere with a popcorn and cotton candy booth, toys, coloring books, and balloons that brought a playful and magical touch to the venue.   The program began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by the singing of the national anthem. Since many members of the Check Group are teachers, they were very good at throwing a series of fun parlor games for children with special prizes for the winners and consolation for all participants. The event was filled with thoughtful donations, especially lots of delicious food and yummy treats.   When Chummy Chum made his grand entrance, the children couldn’t contain their excitement. They rushed to hug him, and many took photos with the mascot to keep as souvenirs.   Each child received food and gifts, leaving the event with smiles and memories of a special day.   A heartfelt thank you goes out to Sir Zoe and Atty. Sherlee for their generous donation of leftover toys from the previous event. 7 March 2025 Brgy. UP Compound, QC Last Monday, Chummy Chum visited children who had been deeply affected by a devastating house fire in the Brgy UP Compound. The fire left many families in distress, and the children were particularly vulnerable to the emotional toll of the experience. When Chummy Chum’s team arrived at the temporary evacuation shelter, the sight of the van immediately caught the children's attention. They eagerly ran toward it, forming a line with wide eyes, excited and curious about what was to come. As the team set up food and gifts, the children's faces lit up in awe—not just at the hot meals being provided, but also at the sight of the additional gifts that Chummy Chum had brought for them. Chummy Chum’s presence made the moment even more special, giving the children a sense of pride as they felt seen, loved, and cared for. The mascot’s visit provided a comforting and uplifting experience, reminding the children that they are valued and supported. Once everything was ready, Chummy Chum’s team delivered not only meals but also heartfelt messages of hope and encouragement to the children. These small acts of kindness offered a much-needed break from the trauma they had experienced, filling their hearts with warmth and joy. 6 March 2025 Purok Sitio Masagana Brgy Alabang Muntinlupa.   Chummy Chum recently visited children from slum areas who were affected by a devastating house fire last Monday.   These children with their families are temporarily staying at the basketball court of the Tuloy sa Don Bosco facility, where the local government unit (LGU) has provided a large tent for each family to ensure their privacy. Since Tuesday, the families have been receiving aid from several good Samaritans, who have offered essential supplies. Among others, Chummy Chum’s visit was special for its unique approach to bringing comfort and joy to the children.   Chummy Chum’s main goal for this visit is to lift the children's spirits. Providing hot meals is an essential plus. Popcorn, loot bags, toys, coloring books, pillows, stuffed bears, and balloons were just some of the things that made the day special for the children. The highlight of the visit was when Chummy Chum danced with the children, creating an atmosphere of joy and relief. This act of kindness helped ease the trauma they had endured from the fire.   The children expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chummy Chum for the time, love, and effort dedicated to brightening their day. For many of them, the visit helped replace some of the toys they had lost in the fire, offering a small sense of comfort during a difficult time.   The support didn’t stop there. The visit was also made possible thanks to generous donations, including lovely Bears of Joy from SM City Sucat and brand-new house house garments from Clearlogic Inc.   These thoughtful gestures remind us of the importance of helping children cope in the aftermath of traumatic events. 1 March 2025 Concordia Orphanage, Old Sta Mesa, Manila Chummy Chum, along with Ms. Kimmi, her mother, and friends, visited the Concordia Orphanage, which cares for abandoned and community children, to share blessings on their special day. Arriving early, the team focused on setting up the event, keeping in mind their goal to engage and excite the children for the charity celebration. Soon, Ms. Kimmi’s team arrived and set up their food and gifts for the children. Before the festivities began, the team conducted an orientation with the center’s staff, going over important guidelines and instructions. The program kicked off with a prayer, followed by fun games, a humorous magic show with puppets, and, of course, Chummy Chum’s arrival, which brought even more joy as Chummy Chum danced with the children. After the fun-filled activities, the team took group photos and distributed the food and gifts. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who chose to celebrate their special day with less fortunate children. 28 February 2025 Sitio Kanluran Zapote Road, Las Pinas City The Chummy Chum Charity of Love recently extended its support to children in slum areas affected by a fire in January, near Longos Zapote Road. The program, dedicated to helping those in need, was guided by residents of Barangay Zapote, who directed the team to the most affected area—Sitio Kanluran. Although other groups had previously conducted feeding programs in the area, the community was pleasantly surprised by the comprehensive support Chummy Chum brought. Not only did they provide hot meals, but they also distributed toys, cupcakes, biscuits, juice, and other treats, ensuring that the children’s smiles were as bright as possible. As the team set up, the children eagerly formed a line, undeterred by the blazing sun. They were excited to be part of the event, and the Chummy Chum team took the time to explain that they were not affiliated with any political or religious group. Their sole mission was to bring joy to the children, a mission that Chummy Chum has proudly carried out for 18 years. When Chummy Chum made his grand entrance, the children’s excitement was palpable. Hugs, high-fives, and photos with Chummy Chum became cherished souvenirs for the children, capturing memories that would last a lifetime. 27 February 2025 OPD Pedia – Novaliches District Hospital Chummy Chum recently visited the NDH OPD Pedia located in Brgy. Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City, bringing joy and excitement to the children waiting for their checkups. Upon the team’s arrival, most of the patients had already gathered, eagerly awaiting their doctors, but had no idea that something special is about to happen that day. Without wasting time, the team set up a popcorn booth and laid out an array of prepared food and toys for the children. The director’s office kindly provided a volunteer to ensure that everything was distributed quickly and efficiently. While Chummy Chum interacted with the children inside, the team took the opportunity to share the foundation’s mission and the importance of its efforts, delivering inspirational messages to encourage positive values that the children can apply to their daily lives.   The moment Chummy Chum stepped outside, the children waiting in line couldn’t contain their excitement. They cheered, hugged Chummy Chum, and eagerly lined up to receive their special gifts. The director’s office and staff expressed their heartfelt gratitude for Chummy Chum’s presence, love, and efforts in making the day extra special for the children. 22 February 2025 Brgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City   Early in the morning, the Chummy Chum van, packed with surprises, revved its engines and hit the road. With the Chummy Chum team and an eager volunteer onboard, they were on a mission to bring joy to a group of children in one of the city’s most underprivileged barangays. It was a day set to be filled with laughter, fun, and unforgettable moments.   The Chummy Chum Foundation, together with WeCarePH, came together to create a magical experience for children who had never had the chance to attend a real children's party—one where they were the VIPs. Their smiles would be the best reward.   As the van pulled up, the children were already waiting, their faces glowing with anticipation. The moment they saw Chummy Chum and the team, their excitement couldn’t be contained. And as the booth filled with delicious treats, colorful toys, and surprises, the joy in the air was palpable.   The program kicked off with a heartfelt prayer, setting the tone for the day’s festivities. Then, the volunteers—who were students—led a series of parlor games. The children, eager and full of energy, jumped into every game with abandon. Their laughter echoed, a pure reminder that the best moments in life come when children simply get to be… children. No worries. Just joy. But the fun truly reached new heights when Chummy Chum, the beloved mascot, joined the kids for an energetic dance performance. 21 February 2025 Western Bicutan Health Center Taguig City    Chummy Chum surprised the young patients at the Western Bicutan Health Center, bringing smiles and laughter to their visit for a free medical check-up. The Chummy Chum team quickly set up a booth filled with delicious treats and special gifts, and the children’s curiosity was piqued as they eagerly wondered what was about to happen. The excitement was contagious, but Chummy Chum’s team patiently waited until all the children had completed their check-ups before starting the fun. In the meantime, they gathered the kids for a heartwarming storytelling session about Chummy Chum’s mission, followed by an inspirational message that filled the room with hope and cheer. Although space was limited, and Chummy Chum couldn’t do his usual dance performance, the mascot made the most of the moment by spending time with the children. Some couldn’t resist rushing in for big, warm hugs, while others laughed and chatted with their beloved mascot. And of course, Chummy Chum helped distribute all the delicious treats and thoughtful gifts. Each child received a comforting bowl of hot Arroz Caldo, cupcakes, biscuits, and bottled water. But the best part? Every child also received a toy and a special gift from Chummy Chum himself. While these gifts may have been small, the true gift was the love and compassion behind them. Chummy Chum’s goal is to make every child feel cherished and cared for, reminding them that they are never alone, no matter what they are going through. 20 February 2025 OPD Pediatric, Justice Jose Abad Santos Gen Hospital (JJASGEN) Manila   Chummy Chum made another heartwarming visit to the young patients at the OPD – Pediatric of the JJASGEN hospital! Since 2015, Chummy Chum has been a beloved guest at the hospital, and this year, the children’s excitement was as big as ever.   The goal? Simple but powerful – to make these brave little warriors, who are battling various health challenges, feel loved and remind them that they can still enjoy the joy of being a kid, even in tough times.   As soon as Chummy Chum appeared, the room was filled with giggles and smiles! Many of the kids knew their fluffy friend right away and rushed to give big, warm hugs. For those meeting Chummy for the first time, the mascot’s friendly presence brought instant joy.   Although safety protocols meant Chummy couldn’t dance or play with the children this time, the fun continued in other ways. Chummy stayed close, helping distribute delicious snacks and thoughtful gifts.   The kids enjoyed a tasty treat of hot champurrado, freshly popped popcorn, cupcakes, biscuits, and bottled water. And, of course, every child received a special toy and a gift from Chummy Chum, making the day feel extra special.   It wasn’t your typical children’s party but a true Charity of Love. Ana, Taytay Rizal Every Saturday, the barangay chapel hosts a heartwarming feeding program for children from underprivileged families in the community. The children eagerly look forward to this day, when they are fed for free and receive teachings from the Bible, nurturing their faith and giving them hope for a brighter future. But this Saturday was extra special! The Chummy Chum team joined the barangay's charity efforts, spreading joy with an abundance of toys, thoughtful gifts, delicious treats, and steaming bowls of creamy champurrado—all for the children. The little ones couldn’t contain their excitement as they enjoyed what felt like a real children’s party! The Chummy Chum team organized fun parlor games that the children joyously participated in. The highlight of the day came when Chummy Chum, the beloved mascot, made a grand appearance and delighted the children with an unforgettable dance performance. Despite the limited space, Chummy Chum’s infectious energy had everyone on their feet, dancing and laughing together. For many of these children, it was their first time meeting Chummy Chum, and the love and joy he brought were unforgettable. The children eagerly received their gifts—brightly colored toys and tasty treats—some even couldn’t wait to dive into their new coloring books, joyfully bringing the pages to life with their creativity. Though the event was simple, it became one of the most memorable days for these children. The genuine smiles on their faces spoke volumes of the happiness they felt. 14 February 2025 Children from Malanday, Marikina The Chummy Chum Foundation and WeCarePh came together to spread love and joy to the children of Brgy. Malanday with a heartwarming Charity of Love children's party. It was a day full of surpris es for children from underprivileged families, including those with special needs. The event was extra special as it also celebrated the birthday of baby Julian Reyleigh, the little prince and son of WeCarePh’s founder. Happy Birthday, Julian! A week before the party, a volunteer reached out to Chummy Chum Foundation offering help. Ms. Kate is a cosmic player – she came as Elsa the Snow Queen. While Elsa is known as a protagonist in her story, at this event, she embodied the role of a sweet, caring Queen, hosting the party and bringing plenty of gifts for the children. The celebration grew even more magical when Chummy Chum made his grand entrance, dancing and spreading cheer. The children couldn’t resist hugging him, their faces lighting up with joy. Each child received a food pack, as well as special gifts from Chummy Chum, WeCarePh, Ms. Kate, and SM City Sucat. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital It was still dark when the Chummy Chum team rose early to prepare chicken sopas for children at the OPD Pediatrics of a government hospital in Tala, Caloocan City. When they arrived, the waiting area was filled with children undergoing medical check-ups. Many were sick, making it difficult for them to enjoy their childhood. The team set up a booth full of tasty treats, toys, and special gifts, while a large table with hot chicken sopas was ready to serve. Shortly after, Chummy Chum (the mascot) joined the children, bringing smiles and spontaneous hugs. The children's excitement was palpable as their illness seemed to fade in Chummy Chum's warm presence. Though the hospital’s policy prevented Chummy Chum from performing his usual dance, he stayed to chat with the kids and helped serve the delicious chicken sopas. In addition to the meal, each child received a toy—a comforting distraction that can ease anxiety and promote emotional well-being. The children also received special gifts from Chummy Chum and SM City Sucat. Though it was an ordinary day, it became a memorable one for the children, thanks to the love and care of the Chummy Chum Foundation's Charity of Love initiative.
