  • Feeding the children living under the bridge.

    1 Sept 2023 (Fri) Feeding the indigent children Bulungan, La Huerta Paranaque City Chummy Chum went out to feed about 100 children living under the La Huerta bridge. With the partner-donor’s initiative to help, all the children were served with hot porridge, thanks to Mam Sharlyn and Sir Alvin. Each child also received a toy and a special gift from Chummy Chum.     19 Aug 2023 (Sat) Indigent Children from Brgy. Libis Caloocan Chummy Chum together with Ms. R and friends brought fun and joy to indigent children from Brgy. Libis, Caloocan. They served the children with food, yummy treats, toys and special gifts. A few children received a cute pet – a baby bunny courtesy of Mr. Dalfen Samson which he personally breeds. The children were elated seeing Chummy Chum (the mascot) for the first time as the latter performed a dance number and taught the children a few trending dance steps.   • Sharing food and toys with the impoverished children from Muntinlupa.

    18 Aug 2023 (Fri) Indigent Children from Purok 4 Brgy. Alabang, Muntinlupa City Chummy Chum visited the impoverished children from Purok 4, Alabang, and distributed a bowl of home-cooked spaghetti and sandwiches matched with cool freshly mixed fruit juice, to all the children. Everyone received a toy and special gifts. It is not every day this kind of surprise happens in their community, and the children were very grateful and happy.   • Surprising the children in the queue at the OPD Pedia, JJASGH.

    16 Aug 2023 (Wed) Unwell children at the OPD - Pedia Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital (JJASGH) Chummy Chum paid a surprise visit to the children in the queue for their medical check-up in JJASGH, Binondo Manila. While waiting for their turn to be called by their doctor, Chummy Chum (the mascot) personally handed over the yummy treats, toys, and special gifts to all the children at the OPD that morning. Every time Chummy Chum visits the unwell children, it eases the discomfort a bit caused by the sickness they have. Special thanks to Mam Caroline, DSV-ISCC,l WeCarePH, and the SM Store.

  • Bringing joy to indigent children from Sta. Mesa Manila

    12 Aug 2023 (Sat) Indigent Children from Sarmiento St. Sta. Mesa Manila A group of young fellows joined Chummy Chum in bringing joy and sharing their blessings with the indigent children from Sta. Mesa Manila. They shared food, toys, and special gifts with all the children. Chummy Chum (the mascot) performed a dance number and had a brief engagement with the children. Everyone was really excited and happy.   • Meet and Greet for the indigent children from Tondo Manila with Chummy Chum and Kalinga ng Kabataan

    12 Aug PM (Sat) Indigent Children from Lukban St. Tondo Manila Chummy Chum and Kalinga ng Kabataan joined forces gracing the Meet and Greet with the indigent children from Tondo Manila. The children were served with food, yummy treats, toys, and special gifts. Chummy Chum didn’t miss the chance to meet the children. He performed a dance number and had a brief engagement with the children. The event was brief but certainly made a memorable afternoon to remember. Special thanks to the SM Store.

  • Sharing food and toys with the children from along the railways.

    8 Aug 2023 (Tues) Indigent Children from Rongot Train Railways Brgy. Alabang, Muntinlupa City Chummy Chum together with Mam Jhen went out to feed and share toys with about 100 indigent children from along the train railways in Ronggot, Muntinlupa City. Each child was served with home-cooked spaghetti and sandwiches, and freshly prepared fruit juice. The children were also given brand-new toys. (The main source of income for their families is scavenging from garbage and trolley service for a small fee). Special thanks to The SM Store, Tramo Central Group, and WeCarePH.

  • Bringing joy to about 100 children fire victims.

    5 Aug 2023 (Sat) Children Victims of Fire Blast from Brgy. Addition Hills Mandaluyong City Chummy Chum and Mam Rachel went to surprise about 100 children who were fire victims from Mandaluyong City. With their combined effort, all the children were served with food, yummy treats toys, and special gifts. A clown entertained them with magic tricks and the most exciting part was when Chummy Chum came out and performed a dance number for the children. The event was brief but certainly left happy memories for all the children and grown-ups who were present that day. It helped ease the trauma caused by the recent fire blast in the community.   • Feeding the underprivileged children along the train railway with Mam Chelle.

    4 Aug 2023 (Friday) Indigent Children from along the Train Rails. Brgy. Sitio, Muntinlupa City Chummy Chum and Mam Chelle went out to feed about 100 indigent children. A simple act of kindness goes a long way. A bowl of home-cooked spaghetti, home-prepared sandwiches, and a toy for each child have left good memories to the children. Thank you to the voluntary partner-donor Mam Chelle for initiating her second Feeding Program for underprivileged children. Special thanks to Tramo Central Group. WeCarePH and The SM Store.

  • Visiting the children at the National Children's Hospital

    1 Aug 2023 (Tues) National Children’s Hospital Chummy Chum graciously visited the children at the National Children’s Hospital (NCH), and delivered the blessings shared by a partner-donor who didn’t want to go public – we call him Sir D. 100 unwell children were served the combined treats of Chummy Chum and Sir D. Half was given to the children who were having medical check-ups at the OPD, while the other half was given to the children who were confined at the Hema Ward. Chummy Chum (the mascot) was present both in OPD and Hema Ward. He didn’t want to miss the children whom he served with food, yummy treats, and gifts. All the children were very happy as well as the nurses and parents who were touched by Chummy Chum’s surprise visit. Thank you to Sir D for generously sharing his blessings with indigent sick children at the NCH. Special thanks to Mam Carolina for the educational books.

    28 July 2023 Indigent Children along the train railway Brgy. Ilaya Muntinlupa City The Chummy Chum team together with voluntary partner donor Mam Chelle visited the children living along the train railway surprising them with delicious snacks and a toy for everyone. The team cooked delicious spaghetti and prepared a yummy sandwich, along with freshly cooked popcorn, and fruit juice, making sure that every child would have one. The children also get a chance to play the Chummy Chum roulette and pick a toy of their choice. It was a stormy day, but it did not stop the team and Ms. Chelle in bringing joy to the children.   • Chummy Chum joined the DSWD Manila's Nutrition Month celebration

    26 July 2023 DSWD Manila Nutrition Month Chummy Chum joined the DSWD Manila’s Nutrition Month. It aims to educate the children on the right food that we should eat every day. The center has gathered children from the poorest of the poor families. Everyone was served with yummy snacks, and each child received toys and special gifts. The children were so excited to see Chummy Chum (the mascot) who joined them in the mid-part of the celebration. All the children were very happy.
