4 Aug 2023 (Friday) Indigent Children from along the Train Rails. Brgy. Sitio, Muntinlupa City Chummy Chum and Mam Chelle went out to feed about 100 indigent children. A simple act of kindness goes a long way. A bowl of home-cooked spaghetti, home-prepared sandwiches, and a toy for each child have left good memories to the children. 1 Aug 2023 (Tues) National Children’s Hospital Chummy Chum graciously visited the children at the National Children’s Hospital (NCH), and delivered the blessings shared by a partner-donor who didn’t want to go public – we call him Sir D. 100 unwell children were served the combined treats of Chummy Chum and Sir D. Half was given to the children who were having medical check-ups at the OPD, while the other half was given to the children who were confined at the Hema Ward. Chummy Chum (the mascot) was present both in OPD and Hema Ward. He didn’t want to miss the children whom he served with food, yummy treats, and gifts. All the children were very happy as well as the nurses and parents who were touched by Chummy Chum’s surprise visit. 28 July 2023 Indigent Children along the train railway Brgy. Ilaya Muntinlupa City The Chummy Chum team together with voluntary partner donor Mam Chelle visited the children living along the train railway surprising them with delicious snacks and a toy for everyone. The team cooked delicious spaghetti and prepared a yummy sandwich, along with freshly cooked popcorn, and fruit juice, making sure that every child would have one. The children also get a chance to play the Chummy Chum roulette and pick a toy of their choice. It was a stormy day, but it did not stop the team and Ms. Chelle in bringing joy to the children. 26 July 2023 DSWD Manila Nutrition Month Chummy Chum joined the DSWD Manila’s Nutrition Month. It aims to educate the children on the right food that we should eat every day. The center has gathered children from the poorest of the poor families. Everyone was served with yummy snacks, and each child received toys and special gifts. The children were so excited to see Chummy Chum (the mascot) who joined them in the mid-part of the celebration. All the children were very happy. 22 July 2023 Indigent Kids from Brgy. 905 Punta, Sta.Ana, Manila Chummy Chum and WeCarePH teams joined forces in the Feeding Program and Gift-Giving for the indigent children from one of the poorest communities in Manila. It was the first time the children met Chummy Chum in person, and it was unforgettable. Chummy Chum did a brief engagement with the children and taught them some dance moves. The children enjoyed every bit of the moment. Everyone received snacks along with cotton candy and popcorn, toys, and special gifts prepared by both teams. Special thanks to The SM Store.

21 July 2023 Indigent Children from Valley 1 Paranaque City The Chummy Chum team pulled up a Feeding Program and Gift-Giving with the blessings shared by two different voluntary donors. The team was able to prepare food packs, toys, and special gifts for all the children they gathered from one of the poor communities in Paranaque. It was the first time that the Chummy Chum team met the children from this community and the children were all excited and happy. 18 July 2023 Ospital ng Maynila Chummy Chum surprised the children queued for a medical check-up at the OPD Pediatrics of the Ospital ng Maynila. Everyone received a food pack set, toys, and special gifts. Chummy Chum (the mascot) took time to personally check on the children and posed for photos with them. It’s been quite a while since Chummy’s last visit to Ospital Ng Maynila, and everyone was so excited and happy to see him once again. Thanks to The SM Store, Tramo Central PH

There are unwell children, seriously sick, who belong to indigent and/or low-earning families. Families who have been doing their very best to make meets ends, that more often than not, failed to provide the basics for their families, more so the medical needs of their sick children. It is not only painful for the parents being futile to provide, but seeing their children in such difficult situation and a chance to survive the disease is getting slimmer. This is what the Child Medical Assistance Program (CMAP) aims for, to help the terminally ill children from indigent families with assistance in cash and in-kind helping them to get their urgent medical and nutritional needs. On July 10, 2023 (Monday), we've met with the latest CMAP Beneficiaries being treated from different public hospitals. Patient: Yassi Age: 7 y/o Case: TB Meningitis Hydrocephalus & Central Precocious Puberty Patient: Dhea Age: 3 Case: Congenital Heart Disease DORV & Hydrocephalus Hospital: PCMC Patient: Dredd Age: 4 years old Case: Congenital Heart Disease Ventricular Septal Defect Hospital: Philippine Heart Center Patient: Ivan Age: 10 Years old Case: Congenital heart disease (Tetralogy of Fallot ) and Imperforate anus. Hospital: Philippine Heart Center We can only help a few. But with this act, we sincerely hope to inspire others to do the same.

2 July 2023 (Sunday) Indigent Children from Brgy. Tanza 1, Imus Cavite Chummy Chum joined the feeding program with SMP Group Inc for the indigent children in one of the many communities in Imus, Cavite. While SMP Group brought delicious food for the children, Chummy Chum brought a lot of joy. The children enjoyed the food and special treats. All were served with freshly cooked popcorn and cotton candy, and food packs from SMP. They also received special gift items from Chummy Chum. Selected children received baby bunnies in a pretty accessorized cage donated by Sir Dalfen and Ms. Faith. The most fun part was when Chummy Chum himself (the mascot) came to join the children. He’d show some dance moves to the children and later on, danced with them. The children were very excited and happy. The event was brief but certainly made a special day for the children. 1 July 2023 Children of Rotary ng Kabataang West Rembo Makati City Chummy Chum joyfully joined the feeding program with the Rotary ng Kabataang West Rembo. About 100 children were served with food packs and received yummy treats, and special gifts from Chummy Chum. Chummy Chum (the mascot) came in, chatted and taught the children a few trending dance moves, and danced with the children later on. Everyone was very happy exchanging high-five with Chummy Chum. The event was also joined by Ms. Faith, the MX3 Ambassador, and Miss Aura International 2020, who brought nutritious drinks and food supplements for the children. 25 June 2023 (Sunday) Collaboration with ETEEAP-LPU Students ERDA Foundation Inc. Chummy Chum happily accepted the collaboration with the ETEEAP students from the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU). The group of students chose to reach out to the children of the ERDA Foundation. They generously donated food packs, gifts, and entertainment shows for a joyful event set up by the Chummy Chum Foundation, which shares yummy treats, special gifts, and toys for all the children. A pair of humorous clowns invited by the students kept the entire event alive, but the most fun was when Chummy Chum (the mascot) came in and danced for the children. There was a high-five exchange between Chummy and the children. Chummy also showed the children a few trending dance steps inviting the latter to dance with him. The event was held at Beata Elementary School, Pandacan Manila. It was brief but definitely fun and meaningful moment for all the children. 24 June 2023 (Sat) Heart Warrior – Imus Cavite Mam Maricar wished to celebrate her son’s 2nd birthday with heart warrior children from Imus Cavite. Chummy Chum happily accepted the collaboration. The children were gathered at the Grandville Subdivision Clubhouse, Malagasang, Imus Cavite. The venue was adorned with colorful and artistic balloons while jovial Chummy Chum songs were being played in the background. Delectable foods were served to the children. Everyone received yummy treats, special gifts, toys, and a signature giveaway prepared by Mam Maricar and Chummy Chum. A pair of funny clowns was invited to cheer up the event with a magic show and lively hosting. Chummy Chum (the mascot) excitedly met with the children, performing a dance number for them. He stayed for a while for picture taking with the children. Mam Maricar definitely did a meaningful way to celebrate her son’s special day, sharing the blessings with unwell children.
