For the fourth time, Ms. Anne chose to celebrate differently.
A regular partner of Chummy Chum, she had seen for herself how every effort is carried with care—how each contribution, big or small, becomes something meaningful in the hands of a team moved by genuine love for children in need. And so, she returned—not just to give, but to share joy once more.
That day, the celebration was with children under the care of the Daughters of Charity. The team arrived early, quietly transforming the space with colorful surprises. By the time the children stepped in, wonder had already begun—eyes widened, smiles came easily, and excitement filled the room.
The day opened with a simple prayer, followed by bursts of laughter as clowns led lively games. Round after round, the children played with delight, pausing only to enjoy sweet cotton candy before the fun continued with a magical performance and playful bubbles dancing in the air.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for.
When Chummy Chum appeared, the room came alive. Children rushed forward, dancing, laughing, and celebrating together as they sang “Happy Birthday” to Ms. Anne and her two children—a shared moment of pure happiness.
Soon after, the spirit of giving unfolded. Ms. Anne prepared grocery packs, loot bags, toys, and food for every child, while Chummy Chum added extra surprises to make each one feel seen and special.
It was more than a birthday.
It was a reminder that celebrations become more meaningful when shared—when joy is given freely, and love is felt deeply by those who need it most.
Happy Birthday, Ms. Anne—and thank you for choosing to celebrate by bringing light into the lives of others.
Special thanks to SM City Sucat for the adorable bunny bears that brought even bigger smiles to every child.
