True to its mission, the Foundation brings joy to children and wishes every child to experience the joy of a real children’s party—where they were the special guests and VIPs, enjoying moments they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience just as yet.

For children with special needs living in difficult circumstances, the greatest gift is often not something wrapped in a box, but the genuine presence of people who make them feel seen, loved, and cared for. Through every smile, conversation, and shared moment, Joyce Marie and her group gave the children exactly that.

Beyond the food, gifts, and entertainment, the day's greatest purpose was to remind every child that they are seen, loved, and cared for—that despite the hardships they face, they are never forgotten and that there are people who genuinely care for them.

For the children, the afternoon was more than just receiving gifts—it was a reminder that they are seen, loved, and cared for.

The event was a wonderful success, giving the children a chance to simply enjoy being children—laughing, playing, and creating happy memories free from the challenges they face in everyday life.

More than a birthday party, it was an opportunity to teach their son the values of compassion, generosity, and caring for others.

Through rain or shine, challenges and triumphs, her commitment to bringing happiness to children has never faded. Together with the team and the support of the Foundation's founder and management, Chummy Chum continues to conduct an average of three charity events each week.

31 May 2026 Brgy. Fabella, Sta. Cruz Manila Bright and early, the Chummy Chum team arrived at a community venue to prepare for a special outreach activity for children from an underserved area. Joining them was a group of dedicated lady volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to make the day memorable. Laughter filled the area as the children danced, posed for photos, and enjoyed a few moments of happiness amid difficult circumstances. For a while, the worries brought by the fire were replaced with smiles, laughter, and hope.

It was exactly the kind of celebration he had hoped for—not centered on himself, but on bringing smiles to children and their families. The event became a beautiful reminder that the greatest birthday gifts are often the joy, hope, and happiness shared with others.

Though Ms. Jobelle was not physically present, her love and kindness were deeply felt by the children. Through the help of Chummy Chum, her birthday wish of bringing joy and hope to sick children became possible, with every gift personally handed to the young patients at the OPD.

The experience deeply touched everyone present. Parents, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff expressed heartfelt gratitude for the emotional comfort and joy shared with the children and their families.

As part of its continuing mission, the Chummy Chum Foundation Philippines, Inc. roams around Metro Manila’s most underserved communities, bringing surprise visits to children living in poverty.
