The program began with a prayer, followed by lively games that instantly lifted the children’s spirits. But the biggest surprise came when Chummy Chum suddenly appeared.

Celebrating a birthday with laughter, magic, and love — because the best gifts are the smiles we share!

To top it off, the children sang a heartfelt "Happy Birthday" to Kuya Jones. Hearing their sincere voices, knowing the hardships they face, made the moment incredibly moving. Their happiness was genuine, their burdens momentarily lifted by the love surrounding them.

These children, who have been into difficult circumstances, were given a moment of joy and belonging. They were overjoyed, jumping up to dance alongside their furry friend. In that moment, they felt seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Hospital staff extended the celebration outdoors, allowing the children a sense of freedom and fun. When Chummy Chum finally appeared, the children’s faces lit up. It was their first time meeting him, but the connection was instant.

Every child went home with a full tummy, a happy heart, and a special gift. For many, it was the kind of celebration they had never experienced before.

A year ago, his own child was treated at the same hospital. Grateful for the blessing of healing, Kuya Emar returned with a full heart, ready to give back.

Inspired by the value of gratitude and compassion, Mommy Rush wanted her daughter to grow up understanding that life’s blessings are best shared.
