A group of young professionals - FTS_ELPGO - turned an ordinary Friday into a memorable day for more than 50 children by partnering with the Chummy Chum Foundation for a meaningful community outreach. Having discovered the foundation online, they prepared school supplies and hearty meals to help children begin the school year with encouragement and hope.

Despite heavy Friday traffic, both teams arrived at the venue with enthusiasm and immediately worked together to transform the area into a festive celebration. Tables were filled with school supplies, delicious meals, special gifts and souvenirs creating an atmosphere of excitement even before the program began.

The afternoon opened with a warm welcome from Jewel the Clown and FTS_ELPGO team, followed by fun-filled games with prizes for all the winners. Laughter echoed throughout the venue as children eagerly joined every activity while enjoying freshly popped popcorn. Although a brief drizzle temporarily paused the program, it did little to dampen the children's excitement.

As the rain eased, the celebration continued with an entertaining magic show that captivated everyone. The highlight of the day came when Chummy Chum made a cheerful entrance. The children greeted the beloved mascot with loud applause, joyful smiles, and dancing, creating one of the most heartwarming moments of the celebration.

The event concluded with the distribution of school supplies, delicious set of food, special gifts, souvenirs, and the children's favorite treat—freshly spun cotton candy, which they watched with wide-eyed amazement.

Parents and barangay officials expressed their heartfelt appreciation, sharing how rare it is for many of the children to experience a celebration where they are made to feel truly special. For the children, the afternoon was more than just receiving gifts—it was a reminder that they are seen, loved, and cared for.

The Chummy Chum Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to FTS_ELPGO for generously sharing not only their blessings but also their time and personal presence with the children. The foundation also thanks SM City Sucat for donating the Besties of Joy bunny plush toys, while the Chummy Chum team added coloring books, Chummy Chum pillows, toys, and other special gifts that made the day even more memorable.
