CMAP No. 186: AJ, 11, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Philippine Children’s Medical Center
AJ was diagnosed with blood cancer when he was 2. The bone marrow he took at the Jose Reyes Medical Center confirmed that he has leukemia. Since then, AJ has been a regular patient of the hospital for various laboratory tests, as well as started with his maintenance medicines. The time came he had episodes of seizures. The parents transferred him to a children’s hospital in Quezon City, where he is being treated according to his age.
