Aiding AJ’s urgent laboratory needs, and more.

“Maraming salamat po sa tulong na ibinigay n’yo sa anak ko, kulang pa ang salitang salamat sa ipinagkaloob ng Chummychum Foundation sa amin.”-Nanay J.

CMAP No. 186: AJ, 11, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Philippine Children’s Medical Center

AJ was diagnosed with blood cancer when he was 2. The bone marrow he took at the Jose Reyes Medical Center confirmed that he has leukemia. Since then, AJ has been a regular patient of the hospital for various laboratory tests, as well as started with his maintenance medicines. The time came he had episodes of seizures. The parents transferred him to a children’s hospital in Quezon City, where he is being treated according to his age. He needed urgent bone marrow procedures, IT, and Cytospine, and the family would need help. The father was a taxi driver with his income could hardly cover the basic needs of his family, more so, the expensive medication AJ.

The founder of Chummy immediately instructed his team to send AJ help. AJ received worth Php 15,000 medical assistance for his maintenance medicines, urgent laboratory needs, and something to share with his family.
