After a devastating fire displaced many families in Hacienda Rosario, Sucat, Muntinlupa, Chummy Chum visited the evacuation center to bring comfort, laughter, and hope to affected children.
What began as a quiet and heavy atmosphere quickly turned cheerful as the team set up games, balloons, gifts, and fun activities for the kids and their families. Laughter filled the evacuation center as children joined the games and listened to inspiring stories about Chummy Chum’s mission of spreading love and hope during difficult times.
The biggest moment came when Chummy Chum finally appeared. The children rushed forward with excitement — dancing, hugging Chummy, taking photos, and receiving loot bags, toys, coloring materials, books, balloons, and other surprises.
Many parents became emotional as they watched their children smile again after days of fear and loss. For a moment, the evacuation center felt less like a place of tragedy and more like a celebration of love, care, and community.
