The Chummy Chum Foundation teamed up with the FEU Red Cross Youth Council for the event “Linangin ang Yaman at Galing ng Kabataan (LAYAG)”, under Project U-Turn and in cooperation with Kapatiran Kaunlaran Foundation, serving children from underserved families.
The day began with preparations of games, gifts, popcorn, and cotton candy. Children received colorful wristbands that doubled as game tokens, sparking excitement even before the activities began. A storytelling session introduced the foundation’s mission—bringing joy to children most in need through frequent outreach and charitable activities.
The highlight came when Chummy Chum appeared, surprising the children and creating laughter-filled moments with hugs, bubbles, and shared fun. Gifts were distributed, leaving the kids thrilled and the team grateful for the chance to make a difference.
Chummy Chum also expressed appreciation for partners and donors who share the mission of spreading joy to children in need, including SM City Sucat and all donors of preloved toys. Collaborations like these allow the foundation to reach more children and create meaningful experiences.
