Holiday Cheers with Chummy Chum, Ms. Renu and Ate Angie

22 December 2025 (AM)

Western Bicutan, Taguig City

For the past 10 years, Ms. Renu G. and her friends in London, through Chummy Chum Foundation, have shared holiday cheer with children from underserved communities. More than a tradition, it’s a heartfelt commitment—made possible with the help of Ms. Renu’s longtime friend, Ate Angie.

Despite December being the busiest time of the year, the Chummy Chum team and volunteers made it happen once again. They arrived early to set up, joined by four cheerful clowns, an ice cream cart, and booths filled with treats and special gifts—much to the excitement of the children eagerly watching every moment.

The program opened with a prayer and a message of gratitude, followed by lively parlor games, magic, and a puppet show. Laughter filled the air when Chummy Chum the friendly baby dinosaur appeared, sending the children into giggles, dancing, and endless photo-taking.

The celebration ended with delicious food packs and gifts lovingly prepared for all 150 children—simple joys they look forward to each year.

Heartfelt thanks were shared by Ate Angie and the community of Western Bicutan, Taguig City, to Ms. Renu and Chummy Chum. Special thanks as well to WeCarePH for the extra game prizes and Zamony Venture Corporation for the donated diapers.
