The ChummyChum Foundation joined the “Papel at Panulat Ko, Gabay sa Kinabukasan Ko” group of RHS Batch 1991 for a cheerful celebration with underprivileged children in Caniogan, Pasig City. Many of these kids rarely experience parties, making the event even more special for everyone involved.
The day kicked off with warm introductions and sweet cotton candy for the children, followed by a prayer and a series of lively games like “Bring Me.” Laughter filled the area as the kids played their hearts out.
Before Chummy Chum’s big entrance, the team shared the foundation’s mission of bringing joy to less fortunate children—especially those who are sick, in orphanages, in public SPED programs, or affected by fires and typhoons.
Then came the moment everyone waited for: Chummy Chum arrived to a chorus of excited screams. The children danced, played, and posed for endless photos with the lovable mascot. A hearty feeding program and gift-giving followed, with presents from both the group and Chummy Chum.
The organizers and volunteers expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing that caring for children in need filled them with even more joy than they gave. They look forward to doing it again.
