Justice Jose Abad Santos Gen. Hospital (JJASGH), OPD Pedia
For nearly 15 years, this public hospital has shared a meaningful partnership with the Chummy Chum Foundation—one built on compassion, consistency, and countless small miracles.
In 2012, the foundation donated infant incubators to strengthen the hospital’s intensive care services for newborns. Through three hospital administrations, the professional relationship has remained strong, united by one mission: bringing, joy, comfort and care to young patients.
Before sunrise, the Chummy Chum team was already busy preparing sweet mung sticky rice for the children. Upon arriving at the hospital, they quickly transformed the OPD Pediatric area into a lively celebration space.
Even during setup, excitement filled the room. Freshly popped popcorn signaled the start of the program, followed by parlor games thoughtfully tailored to fit the children’s medical conditions. Smiles spread. Laughter followed.
And just when everyone thought the fun had peaked—surprise! Chummy Chum himself burst onto the scene with an energetic dance performance, helping distribute food and gifts. What began as an ordinary hospital day turned into a joyful celebration. The once-quiet pediatric ward sparkled with life.
Mothers and hospital staff expressed heartfelt gratitude for the time, care, and love shared with the children.
Special thanks to SM City Sucat for the bunny bears and Zamony Venture Corp for the generous diaper donations.
