A Birthday of Gratitude and Joy

 No matter how many charity events fill their day, the Chummy Chum team serves each one with the same energy and excitement. For their second event, they hurried from the east side of the metro to the west to join Ms. Jeralen, who chose to celebrate her birthday with street children and underprivileged youth under the care of Alay ng Pag-Asa Foundation

 

For Ms. Jeralen, her birthday was not just a personal milestone—it was a heartfelt thanksgiving for the blessings and new life she has received. Her way of expressing gratitude was simple yet beautiful: to give back and bring joy to children most in need.

 

The celebration began with a prayer, followed by lively parlor games, a magical puppet show, and a delightful performance by a friendly clown. Then came the most awaited moment—Chummy Chum’s arrival. With cheerful dance moves and boundless enthusiasm, he brought the children to their feet. Laughter echoed as they danced alongside him, their excitement lighting up the entire gathering.

 

Soon after, the children surrounded Ms. Jeralen and sang a sweet birthday song just for her. Their tiny voices created a moment she would cherish forever—the most meaningful gift of her special day.

 

The children enjoyed delicious food packs and received special gifts, loot bags, toys, and souvenirs through the combined efforts of Ms. Jeralen and Chummy Chum.
