The hospital’s founding anniversary became extra special as Chummy Chum filled the halls with laughter, surprises, and colorful fun alongside hospital leaders led by Director Dr. Janet Tan.
From the emergency ward and inpatient rooms to the busy OPD area, Chummy Chum visited young patients one by one — bringing balloons, games, gifts, and cheerful moments to children waiting for consultations or recovering in their beds.
Many children who had been quietly waiting for doctors suddenly burst into smiles as Chummy arrived with fun activities and special surprises. Even the doctors and staff shared their joy in seeing the children forget, even for a moment, the pain and worries of illness.
At the heart of Chummy Chum’s mission is a simple but meaningful goal: to comfort sick children with joy, love, and hope during some of the hardest days of their young lives.
