A Heartfelt Celebration: Mrs. Sison Shares Her Birthday with Children in Need

Every year on her birthday, Mrs. Sison chooses to celebrate in the most meaningful way — by giving joy to children facing life’s toughest battles. Alongside her husband, she once again welcomed a group of heart warrior children and kids from underprivileged communities to a joyful gathering held at a private clubhouse in the city.

The children, some of whom live in shanties around the Seacom compound and Brgy. Fourth Estate, and others battling serious heart conditions, were greeted with a festive, colorful venue — balloons, themed decor, tables brimming with delicious party food, sweet treats, toys, and thoughtful souvenirs. Cotton candy and popcorn machines stood ready, adding even more excitement to the day.

A lively clown kept the kids entertained with magic tricks and puppet shows, while Mrs. Sison herself joined in the parlor games, laughing and playing with the children. But the highlight of the day? The surprise appearance of Chummy Chum! It was their first time meeting the lovable baby dinosaur, yet the connection was instant — they danced, played, and shared moments of pure joy together.

After the fun and games, the children were treated to a hearty meal, and each one received a gift and a keepsake to take home.

For these children — many born into hardship, and some living with serious illness — moments like these are priceless. The laughter, the care, the feeling of being seen and loved… it brings hope, strength, and the will to keep going.

Mr. and Mrs. Sison have been supporting the Smile For Me Little One program of the Chummy Chum Foundation since 2010, never missing a year — often giving back not once, but two or three times annually.

Happiest Birthday, Mrs. Sison! Your compassion continues to inspire and create lasting impact, one child’s smile at a time.
