A Heartfelt Celebration with Chummy Chum and Ms. Grace

Chummy Chum celebrated a very special birthday with Ms. Grace, who chose to dedicate her day to the children under the care of the Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC), a facility managed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). These children, who have been into difficult circumstances, were given a moment of joy and belonging.

Coming from a morning event under the scorching sun, the team arrived at the RSCC just as the rain began to fall. Though tired, their spirits remained high—after all, another group of children was waiting to be surprised. With just a quick break, the team set up the Chummy Chum booth, transforming the venue into a little world of magic, treats, and gifts.

At exactly 3:00 PM, Ms. Grace arrived with her friends and loved ones, greeted by the eager faces of children already buzzing with excitement. The celebration began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by laughter-filled games and a captivating magic show hosted by a lively clown duo. But the highlight came when Chummy Chum himself danced into the room. The children were overjoyed, jumping up to dance alongside their furry friend. In that moment, they felt seen, valued, and deeply loved.

As the celebration drew to a close, everyone gathered to sing a joyful birthday song to Ms. Grace. She made a quiet wish before blowing out her candle, surrounded by smiles and warm hearts.

Ms. Grace shared her gratitude to the Chummy Chum Foundation for helping make her birthday truly meaningful—by sharing it with those who need joy the most.
