A Surprise Birthday Celebration with Heart: Kuya Jones’ Special Day

Ms. Joelle surprised her boyfriend, Kuya Jones, with a birthday celebration like no other—by dedicating it to less fortunate children, in collaboration with the Chummy Chum Foundation.

The Chummy Chum team arrived early to prepare the venue, setting up a booth filled with sweet treats, special gifts, toys, food packs, and souvenirs. Popcorn and cotton candy machines stood ready to bring extra delight. The team eagerly anticipated the joyful reactions of the children—it’s what fuels their spirit every time.

The program began with a prayer, followed by a series of parlor games, magic tricks, and puppet shows hosted by a lively clown duo. Laughter echoed throughout the venue, and smiles lit up the children’s faces.

Then came the highlight—Chummy Chum's energetic dance performance! The children were thrilled to meet their beloved mascot, many rushing in for warm hugs. It was a heartwarming moment of pure connection and joy.

To top it off, the children sang a heartfelt "Happy Birthday" to Kuya Jones. Hearing their sincere voices, knowing the hardships they face, made the moment incredibly moving. Their happiness was genuine, their burdens momentarily lifted by the love surrounding them.

Ms. Joelle and Kuya Jones personally distributed gifts, food, popcorn, and cotton candy to every child. Each one also received a keepsake from Chummy Chum to remember the day.

It is worth mentioning the warm hospitality of Ellinwood Church, which generously opened one of its rooms and spaces for the celebration. Their consistent sharing of events through their own channels has inspired many donors—both individuals and institutions—to support Chummy Chum and share their blessings with children in need.
