A Sweet Birthday Surprise for Special Children

12 October 2025 AM

Children with Special Needs, Caloocan North

Ms. Louella chose to celebrate her birthday in the most meaningful way—by bringing joy to children with special needs. With the help Uhay ng Batang PWD Association (UBPA) and in collaboration with Chummy Chum Foundation, her special day turned into a celebration of laughter, love, and inclusion.

It was a quiet Sunday for most, but not for the Chummy Chum team. Fueled by excitement, they traveled far to meet the children, bringing along food packs, toys, gifts, sweet treats, and souvenirs. Popcorn and cotton candy machines stood ready, promising smiles with every bite.

The day kicked off with a prayer, followed by lively parlor games and a hilarious magic show hosted by a clown duo. Cheers filled the air as every child joined in—and every child went home a winner.

Then came the most exciting moment—Chummy Chum’s dance performance! As soon as he hit the floor, the children danced along with joy and energy, thrilled to be with their favorite dino-friend.

To end the day, the children gathered to sing a heartfelt “Happy Birthday” to Ate Louella, their way of saying thank you. Everyone enjoyed the birthday cake, delicious food, and of course, more popcorn and cotton candy!

Each child received a special gift, sweet treat, toys, and happy memories that will last a long time.

Special thanks to Kokola Philippines for the yummy cookies and wafers, Zamony Ventures Corporation for quality baby diapers, and UBPA for helping ensure a safe, fun celebration for all.
