For children in Baseco Compound, poverty makes everyday life difficult. Illness adds pain and uncertainty, placing greater strain on families already struggling to meet their basic needs.
To bring these children comfort, Chummy Chum Foundation visited President Corazon Aquino General Hospital in the heart of Baseco. The team prepared toys, special gifts, and yummy treats, turning curious looks into excited smiles.
Soon, bubbles floated through the room as children reached out to catch them and gathered eagerly around Chummy Chum. For those precious moments, their attention seemed to shift away from illness and discomfort toward the simple happiness of playing. Parents watched and captured memories as the hospital became a place of delightful surprises.
The visit was brief, but its message was heartfelt: these children are remembered, loved, and cared for.
