One of Chummy Chum Foundation’s deepest callings is bringing joy to terminally ill children from indigent families—kids who rarely feel happiness under the weight of illness and hardship. Their families, equally burdened, often cannot offer joy—only love mixed with quiet pain.

But when Chummy Chum enters the room, everything changes.

During a recent visit to the OPD Pediatric ward, excitement lit up the children’s faces as the team arrived, setting up a vibrant booth filled with toys, gifts, hot meals, and colorful balloons. For a brief, beautiful moment, the hospital transformed into a place of joy.

Children waiting for checkups momentarily forgot their pain as they ran toward Chummy Chum. He danced, played, and made each child feel seen and special. Though he couldn’t stay long, he left behind tokens—gifts and toys to remind them they were not forgotten.

Even baby patients received premium-quality diapers, thanks to the generosity of Zamony Ventures Corporation.

The visit was short, but the impact was lasting. What began as an ordinary, scary hospital day turned into something magical—a memory of happiness in the midst of hardship.

Because joy, even in small doses, makes a world of difference.
