PGH Cancer Institute

The Cancer Institute of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) holds a special place in the heart of the Chummy Chum Foundation. It was here that the inspiration for the foundation began, making every visit meaningful and heartfelt.

On this special day, the team visited the Pediatric Hema-Oncology Outpatient Department. Despite PGH’s strict visitor protocols, the Chummy Chum team was warmly welcomed by the guards and escorted to the event venue.

Excitement filled the air as the team set up their colorful booth, brimming with delicious treats and thoughtful gifts for the children. Though health protocols limited physical activities like games and Chummy Chum's signature dance performances, the mascot stayed longer to personally meet each child, spreading warmth and cheer with every interaction.

Instead of games, the joy came through simple yet meaningful moments—sharing smiles, distributing goodies, and showing these brave kids they are loved and cared for.

It may have been a quiet celebration, but the happiness and hope it sparked were unforgettable.

Special thanks to SM City Sucat for the generous "Bears of Joy" that made this day even more memorable.
