After the morning event at San Lazaro Hospital, CCF Team headed to Philippine General Hospital (PGH) for another gift-giving activity, this time with the sick kids at Ward 9 and 11, courtesy of Mr. Cabanban and friends.
We had a hard time entering because the new guards were quite strict. Good thing the Head Doctor talked to the guards, and let us in so we could set-up our popcorn booth.
There was a miscommunication on the part of the organizers as they were only allowed to give gifts and nothing else.
So as we were conducting the activity, we had to be really quick in distributing popcorn and freebies as well as with photo ops with Chummy Chum because the permit only allows gift-giving and they only had limited time to do so.
Please know that it takes at least half an hour to set up a booth and cook popcorn especially if there’s 100+ beneficiaries.
