Extending love and care to Rayver.

No. 83: Rayver James M. Gadacho, 5, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Philippine Children Medical Center (PCMC)

The parents of Rayver were devastated when their son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The mother was pregnant then, and a full time housewife to take care of their 2 children. The father is a driver, and hard hit by the ill effect of the pandemic. Their life was not easy back then more so when the pandemic came. But the parents would do anything to provide the needs of all their children especially the ailing one. Most of the time they won’t eat a meal just to make sure that their children will have a good portion. They worry about the medical management of Rayver. The parents learned to be numb when borrowing money from family and friends for the needs of Rayver. They are happy to learn about the Chummy Chum Foundation and somewhat gives them hope.

Chummy Chum delivered the needs of Rayver. He got cash assistance, formula milk, toys and coloring books with set of crayons, as well as grocery items to be shared with the entire family.
