Giving love to little girl Annica.

No. 150: Annica Miracle Hermosa Alcoz, 1, TRAP Congenital heart disease-ventricular septal defect, pulmonary stenosis with patent ductus arteriosus, developmental delay, Philippine Heart Center

Annica was born with a twin sister, both with a heart serious where the cardiac system of one twin does the work of supplying blood for both twins. Annica is the ‘lucky one who supplies blood for her twin sister’s heart. Due to fragility, her twin did not make it through. Annica survived a year of his life and still fighting since she was born. Because of the critical condition of the heart, Annica’s half body is not functioning well. She can’t stand and can only eat soft diet meals, her development has been far behind from being a normal child. Annica has been in and out of the hospital. This is what makes it more difficult for the parents as they do not have enough to provide for the medical needs of their only child. The father is an on-call carpenter and the mother is a full-time mom to her sick child. The parents have been trapped with overwhelming debts, all for the medical treatment of baby Annica.

Chummy Chum sent immediate help for baby Annica with cash assistance for her baby’s medical management and other family’s needs, as well grocery items and Chummy Chum freebies such as coloring book, mini stuff toy, and wristbands.
