No. 76: Xian Jacob Pecolados, 11, Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)
Xian has been suffering from Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia that requires routine clinical procedures and maintenance medicines in order for him to get well. The medicine is expensive and could not afford by his father who has just started working for the family. Both the parents were once working but came the pandemic, they lost their job. It’s good that the father got a new job, however, due to the circumstances, they were left debted, and the current income would help for the basic needs but not enough to cover the medical management of Xian. Xian has a baby sibling who was just born a few months ago. The father requested medical assistance for Xian, specifically for his maintenance medicine and nourishment. Chummy Chum team delivered the help right away. Xian received cash assistance for his maintenance medicine and nourishment as well as grocery items to share with the family. The father was very thankful for the help they received.
