A Birthday Dedicated to Giving Joy

For many years, Rowena has chosen to celebrate her birthday not with gifts for herself, but by sharing joy with children through the Chummy Chum Foundation—an organization she considers her second home and family.

This year's celebration was especially meaningful as she personally prepared food packs and special gifts for the children. Having led the Foundation's outreach activities for nearly two decades, Rowena continues to serve with unwavering dedication. Through rain or shine, challenges and triumphs, her commitment to bringing happiness to children has never faded. Together with the team and the support of the Foundation's founder and management, Chummy Chum continues to conduct an average of three charity events each week.

Joining the celebration were friends and volunteers who have supported Rowena throughout her journey. The day began with lively games that filled the venue with laughter and excitement. Rowena then shared a few heartfelt words about the Foundation's mission and encouraged everyone to continue spreading kindness and hope.

The highlight of the day came when Chummy Chum made his much-awaited appearance. The children rushed forward with excitement, eager for hugs, photos, and a chance to dance with their beloved friend. Smiles lit up every corner as volunteers captured the joyful moments.

The children were treated to donuts, juice, toys, balloons, and loot bags—simple gifts that brought immense happiness and reminded them that they are seen, loved, and cared for.
