Ms. Jessica has been a dear friend of the Chummy Chum Foundation since 2022, when she first began sharing her blessings with less fortunate children. But for three years now, she’s gone beyond sending gifts — she’s been showing up in person, spending her special day bringing joy and surprises to kids who need it most.

This year, Chummy Chum was honored to organize another heartfelt charity event for Ms. Jessica, held in partnership with the Missionaries of Charity. The children they serve — many of whom come from the most underserved communities — were gathered for a celebration they’d never forget.

The warm-hearted sisters of the Missionaries of Charity welcomed the Chummy Chum team upon arrival. Ms. Jessica, joined by her family and a few close friends, was already there, excited to meet new friends who shared the same love for the children. The moment was extra special — the Missionaries of Charity was actually the first center Chummy Chum ever visited back in 2008, marking the beginning of a lasting bond rooted in compassion.

The program began with a prayer, then the fun kicked off with lively parlor games hosted by a cheerful clown and joyfully assisted by Ms. Jessica’s family. The children laughed, played, and soaked up every moment.

But the most magical part? Meeting Chummy Chum in real life! For many of the children, he was a character they had only heard about — and now, here he was, dancing and playing right beside them. It was a dream come true.

It wasn’t just the food, toys, and gifts that lit up their faces — it was the time, attention, and genuine care. The love they felt that day was what truly made the celebration unforgettable.
