Ms. Jessica once again chose to celebrate her birthday with less fortunate children through the Chummy Chum Foundation. This year, she dedicated her special day to children from fire-affected communities who had recently lost their homes and belongings to a devastating blaze.
Despite her busy schedule, Ms. Jessica made time to personally prepare for and participate in the event. Her wish was simple—to help ease the children's emotional pain by giving them a joyful experience and reminding them that they were not alone.
Early in the morning, the children gathered at the venue, eagerly awaiting the celebration. The Chummy Chum team quickly transformed the space with treats, toys, gifts, souvenirs, and food packs prepared especially for them.
The excitement reached its peak when Chummy Chum made a surprise appearance. The room instantly filled with cheers, laughter, and happy giggles as the children rushed to greet their beloved friend. They danced together, posed for photos, and enjoyed moments of pure happiness. For a little while, the fear and sadness brought by the fire gave way to smiles, laughter, and hope.
Though the celebration was brief, it created lasting memories for the children. More than a birthday party, it was a heartfelt act of kindness—a beautiful way of celebrating life's blessings by sharing them with others.
Special thanks to SM City Sucat, Zamony Venture Corporation, and all donors of the Give Love from Pre-Loved Program for helping bring comfort, joy, and hope to the children and families affected by the fire.
