Chummy Chum participated in the Department of Health's (DOH) measles-immunization activity for children from underprivileged communities, held at the Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital. The event, titled “Bakunahan sa Purok ni Juan,” was organized in coordination with Dra. Sacdalan.

Understanding the fear that many children have of needles, Chummy Chum also recognized the importance of vaccination for their health. With this in mind, Chummy Chum willingly took part in the program, aiming to help the children overcome their fear and accept the vaccine with confidence.

Upon arrival at the hospital, all the participating doctors and the DOH team were already present, with medical booths set up and ready. Alongside these, the Chummy Chum booth was also set up, leaving everyone in awe of how much preparation the team had put into creating a joyful atmosphere for the children. The booth featured delicious treats, special gifts, and colorful balloons.

Throughout the event, bubbles filled the air, enhancing the magical moment. The most heartwarming part of the day was when Chummy Chum joined the children. Chummy Chum’s presence was always a source of magic for the children, who felt nothing but joy, turning what would have been a daunting experience into something akin to a harmless ant bite.  Unlike typical immunization days, where the sounds of crying are prevalent, this day was filled with giggles and laughter.

The medical mission proved to be a resounding success—every child received their vaccination and was rewarded with the joy and kindness that Chummy Chum brought. It was a true embodiment of the "Charity of Love."

Doctors, parents, and the DOH team thanked Chummy Chum for his invaluable participation.

Special thanks were also extended to Mam Eunice for the loot bags and treats and to SM City Sucat for their generous contribution of the Bears of Joy.
