A First Birthday Filled with Love and Sharing

12 June 2026

Children from Seacom, Paranaque

While the nation celebrated Independence Day, little Kane Asher celebrated a special milestone of his own—his 1st birthday. In a beautiful act of kindness, his parents chose to mark the occasion by sharing their blessings with children from one of the city's most underserved communities.

The Chummy Chum team gathered and transported the children to a welcoming venue where a day of fun and laughter awaited them. Volunteers arrived early to help prepare the celebration, and soon Kane Asher, together with his parents, joined the festivities. More than a birthday party, it was an opportunity to teach their son the values of compassion, generosity, and caring for others.

As popcorn and cotton candy filled the air with their sweet aroma, the celebration came alive. The children eagerly joined games led by the clown, filling the venue with laughter and excitement.

The highlight of the day came when Chummy Chum made his grand appearance. Children rushed over with smiles, hugs, and excitement, dancing and celebrating together. Everyone gathered to sing "Happy Birthday" to Kane Asher, while his mother expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all who made the day possible.

The celebration concluded with food, gifts, and joyful memories shared by all. It was a day that reminded everyone that the greatest gifts are kindness, love, and the opportunity to bring happiness to others.

Happy 1st Birthday, Kane Asher! May you grow up healthy, kind-hearted, and God-fearing.

Special thanks to SM City Sucat, Zamony Venture Corporation, and all generous donors who shared pre-loved toys and helped make this celebration possible.
