Childhaus with Johnson & Johnson

Chummy Chum received a message from Johnson & Johnson employees looking for a meaningful place to hold their gift-giving event. Childhaus—a halfway home for children battling cancer from the poorest families—became the perfect venue.

The Chummy Chum team and Johnson & Johnson volunteers arrived with warm smiles, beginning the visit with a prayer. Funny clowns hosted gentle, child-friendly games, followed by a magic and puppet show that filled the room with laughter. For children facing the toughest battles, these moments of joy were truly precious.

When Chummy Chum entered, the atmosphere instantly brightened. The children especially the new patients lit up with excitement as Chummy Chum danced, posed for photos, and shared simple moments of fun. For a few hours, the children forgot their pain and simply enjoyed being kids.

Snacks were served, and every child received thoughtful gifts from both Chummy Chum and Johnson & Johnson. Though the visit was simple, the gratitude in the children’s eyes made it unforgettable.
